for those that have used this offer before - were you happy with the salon and the cut? did you get the cut you asked for?

what type of salons were used.. im guessing its not going to be my local toni and guy :rotfl:

considering this as a cheap option to tide me over between 'proper' cuts

Anybody trying to do a bogof with the shampoo and haircuts,

Depending on what system a shop is using you'll probably find that with just a touch of a button, a sales assistant can reprint a receipt for you as long as they dont serve anyone inbetween serving you and another customer...

so once you get served and they give you a receipt, smile, and ask nicely if they can then reprint it.

The worst that happen is they'll say no.

For anyone living in or near Stockport in Cheshire, there is a shop called the 60 Bob Barbers on Lower Hillgate. (For those born post early 70's, this is £3) Not sure if its just a mens shop but I go and compared to £10 at my local mens shop, its a no brainer.

Why don't they tell you which salon it is beforehand? Upon downloading the form I noticed that you can only put in the city, not which salon in that city. So they could allocate me one which is miles away? I find that all a bit peculiar. I know nothing about these salons and how good they are. I know, beggars can't be choosers, and I don't want to sound ungrateful, but even for just £2.80 I would not like to have my hair ruined.

  • Anyone worked out how to locate a participating salon, via the Herbal Essences Web site yet? There is a drop down list of participating towns but there seems to be no way to get beyond this. The URL is http://www.tlc-offers.com/5034herbalessences/index.php5

I am looking for a salon in Glasgow, if anyone can help? I really hate Web sites that use the word "simply" (i.e. simply click here etc) and then make it anything but simple!

    Thanks all.
  • Just found the shampoo BOGOF at Tescos. Thanks for the tip!:rotfl:

Your lucky! It's so expensive being a woman with hair, make-up, tampons each month.

You should try using a mooncup instead of tampons - website is www.mooncup.co.uk not everyone will like it but it works great for me and saves money and the environment too.
  • Just printed out the application & noticed the condition in small print that demands a payment of £30 if you you don't show. Too much anxiety for a man with only half a head of hair.

can I ask you a question please?
how can you start up a petition on line for objection for the tax payer to pay Bernard Matthews firm £650,000 for compensation for the chicken bug,
I am so cross Im boiling over, and strongly object to some of my hard earned money going towards his compensation, when the bug came from his OTHER COUNTRY, so why should we have to pay,Im sure many other will agree with me,
    thanks Clearvisor
