I thought it petty but took a morning off work and did it anyway. :
To be honest I can't be asked to argue I noticed this post so thought I should respond. I know for a fact that the vendor did not take a day off work as it was a SaturdaySo whether you are the vendor is quite questionable.
I only asked for advise and as I said it would be extreme if I would take the rubbish to the new landlords property, its something that was floating my mind but if I wanted to do this I would have done it by now.I put the rubbish in the bin, because that's where rubbish is kept. I do not carry bin bags around with me (who does) so I put the rubbish straight in the bin, I have done this for 20 years without much grief.
:
Interesting as the vendor weren't living at the propertyand for 20 years thats even interesting as the person I bought it off was quite young so you must have been 5 when you purchased the house.
i've never moved house and not found something left in the loft that the previous occupant forgot about. :He's told my solicitor that he doesn't have a wheelie bin! I know that, I lived there !!!!!!, why doesn't he just put it in a black bag and let the bin men take it away, that's what council tax is for.
:
I haven't told my solicitor about this rubbish until recently and she told me to get in touch with the estate agent as it would be quicker which I have not bothered as I could not be asked. So not sure what you are babbling about here. So not sure where you coming up that your solicitor told you to remove the rubbish in the bins.
Whether you are the vendor is quite questionable.0 -
All those who don't get it (;) to all that do), I thought I had cleared everything up, I went back at his request to clear up some leaves that had fallen from the tree. He wanted me to take them with me, why would I do that? I am not talking about a burnt out car in the garden, it's a pile of leaves:mad: .
I do understand that it is an inconvenience, but it's all part of the process that us Brits do when we are buying and selling a house.
Why should I go clambering up into the loft of his house now, if I fall, I would have to take more time off work.
The whole process of selling took 4 months to complete and was a transaction totalling 10's of thousands of pounds, why bother spoling it all for a simple trip to the tip (If it won't go in the bin)?
bclark, it's not correct that council tips are only open during working hours, the one near my old house is open until 8pm during April to October!
Even if it were closed, he could tip it in someones drive in the rough council estate at the end of his street. Before you slate me, I am not saying he should, but who'd know;) .
Snowmaid, I can understand cleaning a rental property, those landlords are all demons, they are itching to keep your deposit, I won't even go into that now.
But, it's not a rental he's bought it.
I'm not usually so tense, but this dude is seriously winding me up.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -

So whether you are the vendor is quite questionable.
<huge snip>
Trust me the names are on some of the items that belong to the vendor so it belongs to the vendor.
Whether you are the vendor is quite questionable.
I assure you any similarity between my thread and yours is purely coincidental(Even though I gave a link to it in my OP).Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -

hjb123 I asked for advise on the forum to see if anyone has had experienced with vendors who have left rubbish in a propery they have purchased.
saint noticed the thread and started a thread of this own and comes out to say he was the previous owner, which is quite questionable as I noticed some of the crap that was in his comments.0 -
URL="http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=424460"]this link he is even asking random strangers on the blasted interweb now:mad:
Interesting you gave a link to my thread and now appear to say its purely coincidental. Also you tend to refer to similar items that I mentioned in my thread and only items which I referred to in my thread.0 -
Don't see the point anymore in offering advice to people who only want to be agreed with...0 -
