Evening peeps,
just a reminder about something close to my heart....flying.
The law has finally been rubber stamped by brussels so if your flight is three hours late and the airlines fault (not weather) you are automatically entitled to 250 euros each for european flights .
Easyjet and BA appealled but were unsuccessful.
The best thing is you can now claim back as far as 2005 so get claiming.
There is a bit on martins page all about it.
Out of my last six flights four were delayed but only one cost me money so that is the one I have claimed for.
I put my claim in during august but the airline waited to see the result of the appeal but now has to pay up.
This should be very good for us as if they will try harder to prevent delays in future, yay.0 -

Do you know why I am up late??
Mum and dad (76) are out partying so will be getting a call to collect them after midnight.
:eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I'm a very old 29! I got rheumatoid arthritis at 22, usually in my pj's by 7pm with a blanket over my aching joints! :rotfl:I totally hate the thought of having to go out and socialise / stay awake!! :rotfl:

For me it is, during the summer months , if I can afford it I fly to my little house in Spain every month.
They have opened a new airport near to me in England but the service has been appalling.
Out of six trips four were seriously delayed.
At the beginning of this month they were so late the airport had closed for the night and we were sent to another airport then bussed back to the closed one.
Can you imagine the chaos of nearly two hundred people with no taxis at 5am??0 -

I know how you feel, I had a badly slipped disc two years ago, overmedication messed my kidneys and at the same time I realised I was in pain all over.
Turned out it was osteo arthritis and had loads of procedures with no relief.
Dad is quite ill with half a lung, spinal surgery, etc and when I collected him from the airport on saturday (Went to Benidorm with his "gang") had to get him to hospital straight away as had a kidney and lung infection.
He shouldn't have gone out but stubborn is not the word!!!
He says he might as well make the most of what he's got left.
Also works four days a week in a manual job.

On the previous thread someone said that if you have a my waitrose card you can get a free hot drink in the cafe. Does your waitrose have a cafe and if so does it have a sign saying this?
I am also wondering what happens in waitrose when you buy the ww select packs as it says £2.99 on the mocs but they are cheaper than this in waitrose?I don't think this has been answered. I thought the free coffee was only in their local stores (I can't remember what they call them). I don't remember seeing anything on the last thread though but there was something on PTS.
The coupon scans @ £2.99. I got 2 & the young SA didn't bat an eyelid.
I suppose I ought to find my card if I'm going to be buying some food in there for a few weeks!
.
Judging by the age discussion I must be one of the oldest on the thread. Hail form the 50s I do!:D:DThere is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Happy last minute of my burpday to you all x0

Ryanair have never on my flights to Malaga been an hour late normally fly from Stansted let alone three, now just think you might be able to manage more flights to your little house in spain if they dont get their act together using the compensation.0
