Thanks altojack.... hmmm, I think I do need support. This last while has been me supporting others whilst just trying to keep going, but I need to put my problems in perspective. Mum has been through hell and back this summer, and just under 2 months ago my best mates boyfriend just collapsed and died out of the blue a month before his 50th B/day. They had been seeing each other for 4 years and a wedding was on the cards for next year. It really has been a bad few weeks for her so I have tried to be there. :(

    Hello Elsie,

What a terrible few months you've had. So sorry to hear about it but hope you can see a little light at the end of the tunnel:o

    Evening peeps,
just a reminder about something close to my heart....flying.

The law has finally been rubber stamped by brussels so if your flight is three hours late and the airlines fault (not weather) you are automatically entitled to 250 euros each for european flights .
Easyjet and BA appealled but were unsuccessful.
The best thing is you can now claim back as far as 2005 so get claiming.
There is a bit on martins page all about it.
Out of my last six flights four were delayed but only one cost me money so that is the one I have claimed for.
I put my claim in during august but the airline waited to see the result of the appeal but now has to pay up.
This should be very good for us as if they will try harder to prevent delays in future, yay.

What if it was an air traffic control problem and not the airlines fault?
