My sada v sainsburys shop today in which I decided to play safe :D This list is minus the fillers and gave me the expected results.

MY OH reduced me to a frothing seething mass again in the car on the way to sada . He just cannot understand that I need to write the shopping lists at home with mys in front of me to double check the prices. I think we have been over this a million times and still he does it.
So we get in the car and 2 minites away from sada he announces he wants chips so I thought I'd take a risk and get the ones I got last week, fortunatly it worked :D
Smooth OJ juice does not give the same price difference as OJ with bits.
Nice to be able to include a 5 beans as a filler :D
I forgot to cut up my Greens MOCs otherwise there would have been 3 greens rather than some of the fillers.

    1 x Heinz Five Beanz in Tomato Sauce (415g) £0.84 £0.85
    1 x Mr Kipling Almond Slices (6) £1.38 £1.00
    1 x Mr Kipling Bakewell Slices (6) £1.38 £1.00
    1 x McCain Home Chips Straight Cut (1Kg) £1.65 £1.00
    2 x Copella English Apple Juice (1.25L) £4.00 £2.70
    1 x Copella Apple & Elderflower Juice (1.25L) £2.00 £1.35
    2 x Copella 100% Pure Orange Juice with Juicy Bits (1.... £4.00 £2.70

Another thought about yesterday's Sada v sains shop.

    Baxters healthy tomato and rive
    Batters minestrone and pasta

Buy 4 tins - Sada £4 sains £3 as its a multibuys and use the 50 p mocs. So 4 tins for £1 after mocs
Very useful if you are collecting tins for food banks. My youngest has been arriving back from uni cold and wet so he has soup as he comes in the door - better than grabbing a lump of cake or biscuits etc

This also bumps up your grand total so a slightly bigger APG :T

Morning everyone. The sun is shining here in the south, looks a lovely day.
I am debating wether I need to get more biscuits today- do I need anymore???

It was lovely reading back all the night shift news, some of it sad, but very real nevertheless. What lovely people.

Off to print up some coupons. Have a good one y'all.xx
  • morning all

We have had a new member of our family arrive so I have been a bit busy. I managed to nip into A's to grab some choccys on the way to the hospital, had a quick skim read before going and thought Id try the choccys and biscuits.

In my hurry i couldnt see the correct tin (i have seen them in Sainsbobs though) so just grabbed the barrel - oops

Could ask what sort of size store people are finding the correct tin in? Im debating going to a bigger one but wondered if its just luck as to where stocks them?

Hope everyone has a good day, will try and catch up in between the kids squabbling and attempting to plan a shop :)

  • Morning all. What a night. Managed to get my mitts on one of those ww meals. Will give it a whirl at lunchtime in the microwave and see how it goes.

Now.. onto what has been happening to me! Last night, at 12.30 am! I got a call from my sister. Now, her husband is a police man. Well.. her husband's cousin's next door neighbour was going to have his goldfish put down. Why? because it kept staring at them. They tried everything, even covering the bowl. But they thought that was cruel so they ended up ringing the cousin and getting him round. So the cousin phones my sister's husband and asks if she'd have the goldfish to save it from being put down. She can't, coz she's allergic to fish. So she rings me! My husband is against gold fish in all forms. To be honest, even if we did have it, I can't see it lasting because my husband would end up bloody well battering it and having it with his chips! He's awful.

So.. I've been ringing round my friends and family in the hope of re-homing the poor might. No luck so far, but will keep you informed. Actually, a song does spring to mind... Let me share it with you.

If anybody out there can offer me some advice, i'd greatly appreciate it. Just got a call from MIL. Had left a message on her machine this morning at 2.00 am. She says she can't have it as she doesn't have the room. Cheeky mare! She seems to have plenty of room for glitching cheese, soft & gentle and toilet rolls!
if you are near peterborough i can recommend a good pond where there loads of goldfish ect. give him a bit of freedom
