Crunchy nut arrived today. Kenco sample in post with 75p off - very handy.
Special k won today. We have never had it so good......well except for the apg glitch;)I know that feeling, I sitting here with a desk covered in coupons trying to sort them out;)
:T:T:T I know!! It's a bit all consuming at the moment isn't it? Anyone else feel a bit overwhelmed and unsure which shop to do next?! I HAVE to invest in a coupon folder!!! :eek:Wondered if anyone could help please:) I noticed that the Clubcard Exchange can be used for opticians. As I've just had an eye test(at Boots) and now need some rather expensive varifocals. I know I can just take my prescription to my Tesco optician but was wondering whether clubcard optician spend has any restrictions?
Guess I'll find out next week but has anyone got any experience of this? TIA:)
Hiya artha :hello: I have no experience with Tesco opticians but as having worked at Boots opticians, what I will say, especially if this is your first pair of varifocals is make sure they take a lot of measurements! With varifocals it is so very important that the placement of the lens is measured especially for you otherwise you're going to be tilting your head in all kids of positions trying to get it right and this will undoubtedly have a huge bearing on whether you can tolerate them let alone adapt to them. Please don't let me put you off, varifocals are amazing but they do take adaptationSecondly don't go for a narrow frame, especially in your first set, you want a larger lens so you've got a greater reading area and your eyes aren't working overdrive transitioning between far sight and near sight.

I am rubbish!!
I found two Disney DVDs with BOGOF stickers on them so thought I'd try my luck with my first ever intentional DTD. Took them to the til with two other bits I'd gone in for and the SA asked if I realised I'd picked up two identical DVDs. It completely threw me so I said 'Yes, they're BOGOF' which they obviously weren't and she noticed so she sent me to CS to get them put through manually!!! Am kicking myself!
Thank you to (I think) FloFlo for pointing it out though, if I hadn't been so rubbish it would have been a nice couple of Xmas pressies sorted!FTB Tracker

Hiya Fudge_Cake thanks for the hugs :A
I missed the red berries last time too so I am pleased about getting those today.
Another one here who needs to join Nikki with slimming world, Debsjc did really well I usually see her once a month and from the first time we met, each month I could see such a big difference.
I just feel I don't really have the time to organise menus etc, I don't really take the time to cook properly most days after looking after mum I go for quick and easy things. OH is a brilliant cook but tends to go for quite high calorie food but very delicious. Last night he cooked a chilli (not a Homepride one even though we have a few cans left!!), I was very good and did not have seconds but it is sitting there for tonight or tomorrow.
One thing I have managed to do is wean myself off of diet coke/pepsi max. I read somewhere that it has the opposite effect as the body expects something sweet and you are more likely to indulge in sweet things that actually contain sugar as you don't actually get it in the diet drink. At the moment the cans of coke are in the shed, had a blip for couple of days last week as DD1 brought an 8 pack in but I am just allowing myself to drink it when I am out which is not very often.
Not drinking the coke, I am making good use of all the bottles of sparkling water I bought as fillers. :rotfl:
Ohhh I always read debsjc's weight loss results with envy! Lots of amazing success stories about SW we've had on here in the past year :T:T
I need to revamp my whole attitude to food, that's the problem. I never eat meals, I just eat carp all day long! I need to get myself into eating meals and routine but I just can't find the motivationI only need to lose about half a stone but I just feel so FAT at the moment, I can't face my weight going up anymore!
Pepsi Max is my downfall, I'm so addicted to it, I feel horrendous without drinking it
I'm such a booger though, I can't ever stick to dietsI always think, ahh what the heck, one biscuit won't hurt....and then the pack's gone!:o:o:o:o

Wow I am having a carp day:o
First of all I was charged twice for my shopping in As. Bought 2 big bags if walkers and SA rang up 3 by mistake, voided but forgot to get the SV to over ride before I put my card in, supervisor came to override the till and I put my debit card in again, got home and checked my account and I been charged twice:mad: I'm expecting one of the transactions will turn end up back in my account in a few days. Have had this happen with As online shopping before. Still:mad:
Then...went to hospital to pick up OH (he comes home 5 hours a day). Now I have a disabled parking badge for my DS which I very rarely ever use simply because every time I used it I got grief because he doesn't necessarily look disabled. I was sick of the hassle so I don't bother anymore. Today I drove round the hospital car park twice and the only space was a disabled one. So I parked up, put the badge on the dash and got kids out of the car. No sooner had I shut the door than this little jobs worth came up to the car and said 'I believe you aren't entitled to park in that space'. I said that I was, the badge has my son's name on and he's here. At this point my son (who has a real dislike of being referred to as disabled) starts chipping in saying how there is nothing wrong with him:o. So he little jobs worth says 'well he looks fine to me, he even says he's fine:mad::mad: . I said to him I CBA arguing with him, I was late to pick my OH up and to do whatever he wanted as I'd done nothing wrong. He trotted after me ranting that he'd have to take down my number plate blah blah. I told him to fill his boots and he eventually stopped following me and scuttled off rummaging in the man bag he had over him. So the disabled badge will be going back in the glove compartment and staking there:mad: I don't know f the hospital issues tickets? I hope they do and I get one then I can have a chance to complain properly!
And last if all I went on FB to get my special K coupons and my printer was out f black ink and they didn't print properly:mad::mad:
That is all.....rant over:o0 -

I deleted the pic as it screwed up the size of my screen, you may need to do the same.
i'll not be able to get away with that in my local. they refused my 30p heinz soup coupon, and debated for 5 minutes as to whether they can accept my safe coupon for herbal essences. To top it all off, the SA i got told me that i cannot get the purple bottle of ariel excel gel, as it had to be the green bottle in the picture.:mad:0 -
:hello: Fudge_cake, good to see you posting again...:j:j:jBorn to glitch0

Folders are the futureI bought a 3 pack in T or S, size A5. Orange for S, Green for A and blue for T. And then an a4 for generic coupons.. makes it soooo much easier
