I thought of you yesterday. I saw a card in Paperchase that said Happy Birthday Misery Guts:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:You can't live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you. ~John Wooden 154/06/2700 -

Just heard that next door's cousin is having a hernia op... it certainly puts things into perspective for me. Here is me moaning about a poxy Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir not comparing.
And as ever, there is a song that springs to mind....
It reminds me of when my grandad forgot his way home from the pub and ended up in S!!!!horpe. He was missing for weeks. We found him shacked up with a crackhead prossy in Glasgow. Apparently, he'd hit his head on the wooden bar whilst pulling his flies up and had momentarily lost his memory. The girl in question (the prossy), had taken advantage of him and was using his credit cards to fund her drug habit. We wouldn't have minded, but she got my grandad onto drugs.
It took us the best part of 3 months to ween him off the drugs. We all had to take it in turns to keep guard over him after that.
Anyway, i'll leave you with the song in question.. enjoy.. (oh.. hugs to all that need them, and kleenex wipes to all that don't).

P.S. Sorry for the long post... but I felt I had to get all that off my chest.. and where better? than here?0 -
