Thought I would try a s...bobs in my area as sda didn't have the WW or the K biscuits or crisps well got a small amount of these items no more than 1 of each plus some fillers ,D/M in tow 90.
Till assistant called s/v oh no can't take any of these, too much fraud being committed ,I say these coupons have my name printed on ,and some I won in a competition, however if that's your policy I will just leave the couponed items.
Next minute the manageress comes running down accompanied by a, wait for it WPC and says to me we have had a woman clearing the shelves and using coupons, they both look at mine, then say well these are all in order and you are not the women who has been in taking the iss..wouldn't mind I haven't been in that store in over a year and will not be going in again anytime soon.

I stayed calm knowing my coupons were genuine, and not overdone but it was an eye opener in a shop full of people and a WPC stood there .There is a police station across the road so could have been a coincidence that she happened to be there .
I am not put off couponing but will be wary ,I mean can they do this.

    That's awful:eek::eek:
My local in St.Annes has a police station over the road. Is this the store you were in?

It seems to be the Foxes Vinnie Biscuit tin ( purple colour) at £6. Good luck - I seem to have started a rush on Biscuits!

You still need to buy something that is cheaper elsewhere, the liquers are £5 bogof in sainsbobs .
If it works it should be an apg back for £7.70 ish for a £10 something spend

The only reason this should work is because only adsa sell the biccies so don't show on the apg and the other 2 items compare at full price

There are definately some b******s out there, but there are good ones too, My ex decided he would tell me he was leaving me after I had finished telling him that the doctor said I had severe post natal depression, he said that he may as well tell me he was leaving me and that he didnt believe in PND charming man, our children were 25months and 9 months old at the time, I ended up in hospital for 2 months having 6 courses of electric shock therapy, Im so glad my mum was around then because i wouldnt have managed without her.
After a few years of being on my own with the children I met my DH, we have now been married for 20 years and he has had lots to put up with, My mum died a couple of months after we got married and our first baby was still born, I have suffered depression many times since and other medical problems but he is always there for me, he has never treat his step children any differently to our daughter, I have put lots of weight on, lost it put it on again etc, yet he never sees me any differently, he loves me for me. You should never give up hope of meeting that 'special man' that will treat you the way you deserve.

Sorry all for this extra long rant, dont share very often, usually stay in the background, once I started I couldnt stop. Im just trying to say that people should never give up on happiness, and what doesnt kill us makes us stronger, I dont feel sorry for myself with my past I just feel blessed for what I have now, 3 wonderfull children an amazing husband and some very special friends. any thing else life throws at me I will throw straight back. :)

That lovely, thank you for sharing, so happy for you and your lovely man and children. Si nice to read a happy ending,

Is the reason the chocs went through at full price on apg (rather than 3f£10 price) because the Fox's were missing so apg thinks you only bought 2 rather than 3?

DD wombled a receipt yesterday and it came back with £1.35 :T:T

Actually I have a question to the Elite Mummy and Daddies.
My DD is 2 (3 in February) and I've noticed over the last few weeks that she sometimes struggles to get some of her words out, almost like a stutter/stammer. I have spoken to our Health Visitor and she said she would make a referral to the speech therapist for us. I'm just wondering how this will work though, as DD is quite shy and doesn't really talk much to people she doesn't know and I would imagine the speech therapist would need to hear it for herself?
Don't suppose anyone has had a similar experience that could offer some advice? Or happens to know what the speech therapist will do? Thanks in advance

DS1 who will be 3 in April does something similar. He's got a brilliant vocabulary but occasionally will repeat same word or words over and over (eg 'I want' :rotfl:) and it seems that he can't seem to get the next word out. This will happen even when the next word is one he is familiar with. He seems to get frustrated but we just wait for him to finish what he is trying to say and don't make any reference to it. I just guessed it would resolve itself when he didn't have to concentrate so much on what he was trying to say.
Sorry, haven't got any advice about it really, just wanted to let you know that your DD is not the only one. Let us know how you get on
