No , they certainly haven't overcharged me ! My receipt clearly lists everything that I bought including the tin of biscuits (£6) and 2 boxes of Chocolates (£7 each). I paid £20 for the 3 for these 3 items on the receipt list - and the £10 multibuy came off at the end. My first receipt total was £50.49 and this reduced to £40.49 after the £10 multibuy deduction. The only other items that didn't show on the APG listing were 2 newspapers and a reduced pack of cakes. The APG has compared both boxes of chocolates at full price before the deduction.
I'v just done a very similar shop again (the Terrys will perhaps cause problems as I accidentally picked up the milk instead of dark) including the same biscuits and I will let you know what happens later today. The APG system is currently down for me though - anyone else having trouble?I am not young enough to know everything.0 -
Afternoon everyone:)Have had to do some serious skipping as too much to do today:(Had a brilliant day yesterday and met loads of DS's new uni friends and I think their all as mad as him, highly intelligent but mad;):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:But a lovely bunch of young people. His room was spotless as I knew it would be;)but only because he'd persuaded one of the girls to clear up for an hour before we arrived!(As I knew he would;))Not a spot of dirty washing in sight, until I investigated and it was hidden everywhere:eek::eek:and he has been wearing someone else socks for 2 days as he doesnt have any clean ones:oBut he's happy and I was the most popular mum I think as I started getting out the reloaded and goodies:)MrLala treated us to lunch at Jamie Olivers Italian
and I treated myself to a Cath Kidson brolly(Well it was chucking it down)
I have decided that I am going to make a proper list of how much money I save, because in the last week with all the deals (And I have sort of extreme couponed;)) I think I've saved about £350/£400:T:T:TSo from Monday my list starts:)
Quite funny now because I have so much more money and I never say "I shouldnt really I can't afford it" I'm more likely to say "I wouldnt pay that for it!".Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

My DD is 2 (3 in February) and I've noticed over the last few weeks that she sometimes struggles to get some of her words out, almost like a stutter/stammer. I have spoken to our Health Visitor and she said she would make a referral to the speech therapist for us. I'm just wondering how this will work though, as DD is quite shy and doesn't really talk much to people she doesn't know and I would imagine the speech therapist would need to hear it for herself?
Don't suppose anyone has had a similar experience that could offer some advice? Or happens to know what the speech therapist will do? Thanks in advance
LFAB, my little granddaughter was the same when she was about three. She suddenly developed a stammer. My daughter spoke to her Health Visitor who told her to monitor it. To be honest, I wasn't concerned. I thought it was because she had suddenly acquired a large vocabulary and she was over eager to use it. A few months later, her stammer just disappeared. We made a point of not drawing attention to it or saying words for her.

Thank you, wondered if I had done the right thing in sharing when I was lying in bed awake until 6 this morning, but have just got as far as your post and I feel a little better about it already. Now just need to catch up with the rest of thread and then maybe get dressed, or perhaps even venture out for a few woppsies or spend a couple of coupons.
I hate it when the clocks change, makes the evenings so dark and long.:(0 -
