My 17yr old twins are both learning to drive with an instructor, who has quoted around 40hrs of driving lessons each.

Bank of dad would of liked it in 12 lessons!

    HTH

I'm just getting my fourth through the trauma/expense (for me) of driving lessons.
The instructor says a min of 40hours for most but my dd wont do her theory so its going to be more :(

Is the reason the chocs went through at full price on apg (rather than 3f£10 price) because the Fox's were missing so apg thinks you only bought 2 rather than 3?

    That's how I interpret it ;)

I got 80p for a non targeted shop. Things that may be of interest, finest croissants currently cheaper than A, :oonly standard cheddars compare to 50p in A, bacon ones are 1.00 in A. I bought the non-alcoholic version of reloaded ( relentless) in T as mine no longer stocks reloaded. Coupon taken no problem, add own vodka to taste, better flavours including sugarfree if you like that kind of thing, compared to A 1.00 :)

Thought I would try a s...bobs in my area as sda didn't have the WW or the K biscuits or crisps well got a small amount of these items no more than 1 of each plus some fillers ,D/M in tow 90.
Till assistant called s/v oh no can't take any of these, too much fraud being committed ,I say these coupons have my name printed on ,and some I won in a competition, however if that's your policy I will just leave the couponed items.
Next minute the manageress comes running down accompanied by a, wait for it WPC and says to me we have had a woman clearing the shelves and using coupons, they both look at mine, then say well these are all in order and you are not the women who has been in taking the iss..wouldn't mind I haven't been in that store in over a year and will not be going in again anytime soon.

I stayed calm knowing my coupons were genuine, and not overdone but it was an eye opener in a shop full of people and a WPC stood there .There is a police station across the road so could have been a coincidence that she happened to be there .
I am not put off couponing but will be wary ,I mean can they do this.
  • I got mine back about 11pm last night after putting them in about mid day :)

Can I put a request in for shorter very difficult questions please?! :rotfl::rotfl:

    Are you for real :eek::rotfl::eek::rotfl::eek:

Only managed to answer them all twice:D:D

One twin has just passed his theory test, just booked his driving test. The other is on his 4th driving lesson as we speak!
Another two years until son (number 3) is old enough for driving lessons.
  • DD wombled a receipt yesterday and it came back with £1.35 :T:T

Actually I have a question to the Elite Mummy and Daddies.
My DD is 2 (3 in February) and I've noticed over the last few weeks that she sometimes struggles to get some of her words out, almost like a stutter/stammer. I have spoken to our Health Visitor and she said she would make a referral to the speech therapist for us. I'm just wondering how this will work though, as DD is quite shy and doesn't really talk much to people she doesn't know and I would imagine the speech therapist would need to hear it for herself?
Don't suppose anyone has had a similar experience that could offer some advice? Or happens to know what the speech therapist will do? Thanks in advance

    Morning (just) everyone,

I think you missed this bit :-

The chocolates were both bought as part of the 3 for £10 deal - the 3rd item in the deal was a tin of Foxes 'Vinnie Biscuits/limited edition' in a purple tin - these show on my receipt at £6 but they are completely missing on the APG list !

could this be a "trigger" ? making things go glitchy perhaps?

It seems to me the 3 items compaired at full price!
Yes sorry. That'll teach me to read it twice before rushing in with an opinion!!
