Yesterday was probably the first time I had said more than 5 words to him in about 6 months ( including Sunday when we all had lunch at Mum's - I would not have gone if I had known he would be there) and will probably be the last in a long while. The reason he blanks me is everyone was complaining about him having all the money and I wrote him a letter about his behaviour that the others were supposed to sign but they backed out at the last minute. So I am a bit of a pariah to him ( is that the right thing to say?).
I mean what sort of person leaves his elderly parents with a massive mortgage created to save his business and then builds a swanky house for himself with the profit from sale of his property instead of paying them back. I know who has more morals and it is not him.
must be so horrible for you

i just couldnt imagine caring moer about my pockets being lined when my mum finally left me than caring about her health and making sure her final weeks/months/years etc here were as comfortable and happy for her as possible.

At least you do whats right by your mum, she'd be totally lost if it wasnt for you, you're doing a very good job i'd say!
    Just keep strong!!
You can't make someone love you. All you can do is
stalk them & hope they panic & give in

Can you please confirm where they were? Fresh cabs or frozen cabs? TIA :)
Oops, sorry, yes they are in the frozen section with the "Free From" stuff.
I will edit my original post.

Extreme couponing: black Friday 9.00 Disc realtime....

it was about this time 3 years ago we had our own Black Friday when T's stopped taking Mocs against any product:(

I watched most of this at mam's last night but got fed up as it's just a sale, I find extreme couponing in the title to be very misleading :(
    May: Make £5 a day £115.38 / £155

  • I found these for 57p in my local Tesco Extra: http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/ocado-compare-prices/frozen_vegetarian/goodlife_glamorgan_sausages_with_leek_and_cheddar_6_per_pack_300g.html

Goodlife Glamorgan Sausages with Leek & Cheddar (6 per pack - 300g)

SEL said £2.29, they say "cheddar" on MSM but actually there is no cheese in them? They are gluten free & suitable for veggies & vegans.

Edit: they are in the frozen section, with Free From foods.

The MSM page is messed up, with a description of 1 item and 2 different photos. Which version did you buy please? Is it the leek, onion & cauliflower variety or the leek and cheddar shown here:
    http://www.goodnessdirect.co.uk/cgi-local/frameset/detai/276592_Goodlife_Glamorgan_Leek___Cheese_Sausages__300g.html

I ask because the leek and cheddar ones do contain cheddar and are not suitable for vegans (very tasty though).

    It's only a game

  • well its been snowing here & my heating has been on for ages.

Im so not a hardy person, best thing is to huddle in the room which has the wood burner in & it feels tropical : )

On a coupon note, i got my shopping down from £52 to just under £10 at Tosco today. It was helped that the CO saw i had a morrisons £5 off £40 spend. He grabbed it to see if it scanned, oh joy of joys it did so a bonus extra £5 off my shopping :D

Hope everyone keeps safe & warm in this cold snap.

Do you think we can use the ADSA £5 off £40 in Tosco too?
