I clicked on the 1 and it showed the name - I suggest if it stays at 1 vote then that person be volunteered to do it :rotfl:

I chose separate threads and to pay fnc but just because, after last year, I think he deserved to be paid :cool:

I wasn't here last year but it does seem a lot of work for one person to handle. Voted for split threads, that way people who don't use fb/twitter can avoid those altogether

Just to update while the majority at present would like seperate stickies so the work would be shared, have had a PM off one of the board guides and because they don't like a lot of stickies, it will have to be one sticky only, which I think means only 1 person will be able to do the job.

Or forget the stickies, and have separate threads? They will be bumped regularly anyway, and people can always bookmark them.

No advent thread

You can do it with multiple volunteers in a single thread (and make it a sticky) if you take care setting it up - see the previous Daily Index for an example where 3 volunteers split the workload in the first three posts.

It is totally feasible for a different volunteer to take responsibility for one (or more) of the sections.

PS. A single thread also makes it more likely that a comp poster would find the correct place to post the link to their comp.

I shall refrain from voting, as I hardly entered any advents last year and I doubt I will have time this year either and I definately won't have time to run a thread, but many thanks to those that offer.
