    Hi all,

Thanks for the info JackieO and Butterfly brain. I think I probably haven't heard it because I'm a northern lass:D
Supki have a hug Hun, I am a regular on here and I don't know how to use it either.
Moorhen I'm loving the books. I am up to number 4 so I am hoping they will keep me company on the flight to Australia and back
Lame wolf what about hair removal cream with an applicator, might be easier and safer than a razor

So walk and bingo wing exercises done. Had a long chat with my middle son on FaceTime who is counting down the days until we get there along with his girlfriend. He is so looking forward to coming home in January, even missing the cold.

Time to prep the omelettes and fillings for tea bfn

Hey.... you're not dumb, you're upset and that affects clear thinking.

Also, I see you've not got many posts under your belt, I'm not sure if they allow you to quote til you've done a certain number of posts. I may be wrong, but I seem to remember this or something like it.

Sorry to hear of your predicament - you need to get some explanation, and (not knowing the ESA system) object, or appeal, or whatever you need to do to get hubby's case officially looked at.

Have a Wolfy (((HUG))) to be going on with.

ETA Julie I can't use removal cream, it takes my skin off. But the problem is still there - I can't get either hand anywhere near my right armpit.:( I can just about manage to apply roll-on deodorant, by holding the very bottom of the bottle, and even that hurts my shoulder like hell. I normally use the electric razor bit of my Silk Epil

thank you so much for this. I'm so in tears because they stopped my hubby's ESA without warning. I came here looking for some hugs and your msg really cheered me up.

    Hi Supki x
First off you must ring them and appeal - ask for a GL24 (I think?) anyway they will send you one and you must fill it in and send it off with 28 days.

Then ask them for a copy of his medical assessments.
There are a couple of posters - Muttley and RogerBlack on the Work and Benefits bit of this forum who will answer your questions very reliably. Ignore any twits

I understand how upset you are - we have just got mine sorted out and face more upheaval next month. But you can get this sorted xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Hello Everyone
Been away a while recently. DH diagnosed with bowel cancer two weeks ago, had big op last Thursday which revealed rathe more than was first thought.. However, all nasties removed which is good news and we await the histology results to see the level of chemo he's in for. We almost gave up the health insurance earlier this year, not having used it for almost twenty years...really glad we didn't! Anyway I've just fetched him home!
    Will keep you posted!
Guess there'll be a fair bit of OS invalid cooking going on here for a few days! Apart from the most basic housework I'm a bit behind with everything, but perhaps I can be let off this time! I need to try to catch up with all your news now. Bet I've missed loads!
    Resolution:
    Think twice before spending anything!

lw - i really feel for you. when i broke my arm i couldnt manage hardly anything and im feeling for you right now. i have a suggestion tho - just ask your other half...i really can see you want to manage this yourself but he wouldnt want you to struggle :(
momentous day for me.... ive handed my notice in. im not going to tell anyone at work yet as i dont want a fuss. have just emailed h r and my manager today. i was in such a dilemma. im so tired all the time and my other job is getting so busy its hard to cope with. i fed 105 on friday and i leave work knackered. i was doing 15 hours in my old job but now i have this new job i do at least 25 and they are hard work. with my second job as well which is 8 hrs a week i really struggle and find nothing gets done with the house. ill save a little on tax and will have to budget a bit more. im good when i need to be. my youngest is still only 8 and he needs his mum in the evening to help with books/homework. all in all i feel like a weight has been lifted. ive worked there for 13 years this year.
not very o/s to be giving up hours i know!!
lamb hotpot for tea then straight out to said job!! only 5 more shifts to go tho.
thinking of all the poorlies and the sad ones today.

still a bit foggy out there, i love autumn days. was going to do a rice pud but thought id be good!
    have a good evening all

Beemuzed - Big, big hugs to you and DH. I have been there with my DH.
Maud - Glad you're feeling better.
LW - Maybe you could have your underarms waxed at a salon?
Hugs to everyone feeling down or poorly.

Been really busy at both works - was on my own last night at hotel and had 20 rooms to do myself. I ended up phoning supervisor to bring in help. In on my own again tonight so hopefully staffing issues have been resolved.

Cauli cheese for tea, DD can warm hers up when she gets in. House not too bad, washing up to date for a change.

    Take care. XX
