    Morning all,

This is the house of lurgy here, OH and I came down with a sore throat, streaming nose aches etc and feel much worse today, and dd has started this morning too.:( so I dont think an awful lot will be going on here today. Dont think I should go and see my dad either, dont want him or the other old folk getting this.

I have an online shop to do today and some office work, so will see how I get on, also got 2 ebay parcels to post.

Meat pie for dinner might just shove some jackets in the oven to go with it.

Halight glad you are starting to feel better.

Tru I am very jealous of your cornish blue, do you want it ??

    Have good days all xx

Very very very very much :D

It's a jumble of different things and there's doubles, triples and quadruples of some :D I'll have to sort it and write a list. Some of it is very dusty so it's soaking in the sink at the mo. Some is really old and the glaze has cracked, if I clean it properly it'll be ruined so it can sit on the shelf looking pretty :D

I still can't believe the woman remembered us - she offered it months ago (for a dearer price but it was still a good deal) but we couldn't afford it. I'm very grateful and still doing this :j lol.

Morning everyone. very foggy here, cannot see the end of the garden at the mo.
Halight hope the tooth is feeling better.
Bargainbird glad Maud is on the mend.
Hope everyone is ok, hugs where wanted

Woofer loved his cake yesterday, and took his teddy to bed, Betsy however raced round the house like a loon and trod on Dd laptop that she had left on her bed:mad:. Dont let the dogs upstairs and definately not on the beds . However dd should have put her laptop away not left it on the bed. Screen is broken so have to drop that into the comp fella in town. Dsis has said she will pay for any repairs.

Have to wash the floor today in kitchen and hallway as has dried muddy woofer footprints on it.
Ds1 is coming home for a week:j:j. He has a reading week at uni so has decided he can read just as well at home so train tickets are booked £11.01 for a return from Bradford to Cambridgeshire, so cost him a pound and a penny as he has a £10 e voucher for redspotted hanky.

Will be lovely to have him back for a week. Will send him back with some homemade goodies for him and his friends.

Toad in the hole tonight with mash and broccoli
Right another cuppa then off to get the mop
Hope a good day is had by all.

    Morning all,

such a dark damp day here. Its not raining but i did get wet just from walking to the shop and back. I was dodging wriggly worms on the footpath.

I'm having one heck of a bad hair day. Its short but not that short if you know what i mean and its sticking up all over the place. I'm of the opinion short hair can be just as hard work as long!

Had my usual early morning text off hubby, neither of us slept well Sunday night and he overslept this morning.

Not got much to do today but ive got some research to do online. That will keep me busy for an hour or two. Will go with the flow for the rest of the day.

Halight, glad your pain was eased by the stronger pills. Hope you feel better soon.

Still not decided what to do about the school reunion. My friend messaged me again last night. She really wants me to go, cant say i'm that fussed but i dont have to stay long do i?

Due to the weather conditions and the fact i dont like losing friends, keep safe all.

    morning!

damp here again. Off to work this afternoon so catching up on jobs this morning. The laundry mountain is slowly shrinking - would shrink a lot quicker with some decent drying weather:cool:

Louie dog had an upset tummy last night so doggy bedding in the wash.He seems fine this morning, probably ate something yukky that he shouldn't have.

Have defrosted some bean chilli to take to work for tea.

House tidy - cant do any hoovering as the belt has broken so am waiting for a replacement to come through the post.

BB - glad Maud is getting better :)

RR - get well soon to all in the house of lurgy! x x x

Halight - glad the tooth is better:j

    Have a great day all x x x

We have to starve the kitten from 6pm tonight as he's going to be neutered tomorrow, I'm hoping it will calm him down!!!!!!! Hugs to all in need , great news about Maud BB Monnagran hope the Rev's op goes well, and glad you had a better night Halight Redruby hope you are all better soon. Have a good day all especially those on half-term :)

  • Morning all! Long time since I've been around but think it's time I delurked as I'm starting to slip off the OS wagon a little and rely a little more on convenience again - I blame moving in with the boy who is flipping lazy when it comes to cooking etc and wants quick food asap!

Been up since 3am as the darn dog is being an awkward sod and now I'm nannying I am knackered! The tot I look after is teething and has a horrible cough and cold :( It's not so bad though as it's the boys day off and he's off to the gym before me and him go swimming tonight, he's managed to get back to sleep for now though - will wake him up with brekkie soon, poached eggs and toast nom!

Positive thoughts and god wishes to all :)

Morning - wet and drippy here. I made good progress on the workload yesterday morning (I always seem to do that under pressure), but HR could see by my face that I was in pain so I'm only doing 3 half-days this week instead of 6. They've banned me from the conference + evening meal tomorrow. I'm working this afternoon and Friday afternoon. Tomorrow and Thursday I'm just going to rest instead of trying to declutter further; gotta get this neck thing back under control. Not feeling too bad at the moment.

DH has the lurgy and came home early from work yesterday; he's currently festering on the sofa and mainlining Lemsip. I managed to pick up a YS steak + ale pie from Mr T last night, but neither of us feels much like food at the moment. Can't believe how much I've slept in the past 24 hours.

Have a good day everyone :)
