Had a pain the neck MS yesterday. Thought I'd be in and out in 15-20 minutes but was there over an hour, as there was only one member of staff in the shop so had to wait for service for ages. Needless to say, if I was a genuine customer, I'd have left after a few minutes

    :(

i was too late to accept a grassroots one today when i returned home  it was real near to my home too <sigh>

did a nice lunchy one today though so not all bad

I like the lunch ones too Rachie ;)

Am getting up early tomorrow to get 2 petrol stations done before 9.30am, then a supermarket, and then a takeaway pizza in the evening! :D

How do you do this on the ABA site, I can't find how you specify your area?

Sorry, I didn't make that too clear - I was referring to the Retail Eyes website. I've edited my original post.
  • Well I am hanging up my mystery shopping raincoat, hat and fake moutasche. I won't go into huge details but I am seriously disillusioned with one company so much so I have cancelled my other 3 assignments. I had an abusive SA who could not be a****d who would not serve me the right amount of items so my payment was withheld despite my explanations.

I will work for TNS as I enjoy the foodie ones but the rest ............ well I am going to enjoy some extra free time.

How not to do MSing: do two shops, discover there's a Next Clearance store next door, go in and spend 4x the amount you've just 'earned'.

    :o

I was mystery shopped the other day. Im almost certain. the scenario was thrown at me straight away and the MS looked incredibly nervous. I like to have a bit of fun with MS. I know they won't "BUY TODAY" but it's very good trying to get them to, hearing the excuses some of you lot come up with haha. LOL

I need to speak with the OH
I don't have my bank card
Im in a rush (after spening 30 mins in store they are suddenly in a rush?)

If I turned around and asked a MS if they were mystery shopping me wonder how many would say yes? obviously I'd do it just before they leave.

P.S. im shopped by GAP so watch out all you shoppers.

Im considering signing up myself, only put off by time restraints with my full time job! The extra money would be handy for me at the moment as we are saving really hard for our house deposit!

Don't let one company put you off. If you don't like them, then never work for them again, but there's plenty of other companies out there. The beauty of this job is you can pick and chose who you work for.

I've had jobs go wrong with other companies, who are more understanding and will pay if it was circumstances beyond your control such as the abusive SA you mention.
Here I go again on my own....
