I was mystery shopped the other day. Im almost certain. the scenario was thrown at me straight away and the MS looked incredibly nervous. I like to have a bit of fun with MS. I know they won't "BUY TODAY" but it's very good trying to get them to, hearing the excuses some of you lot come up with haha. LOL

I need to speak with the OH
I don't have my bank card
Im in a rush (after spening 30 mins in store they are suddenly in a rush?)

If I turned around and asked a MS if they were mystery shopping me wonder how many would say yes? obviously I'd do it just before they leave.

P.S. im shopped by GAP so watch out all you shoppers.

Im considering signing up myself, only put off by time restraints with my full time job! The extra money would be handy for me at the moment as we are saving really hard for our house deposit!

well you arent allowed to disclose the fact you are a MS !

although a certain assignment now requires you to hand over a letter at the POS,my sister did one at the wkend ,she said it was funny seeing the look on the sales persons face lol

  • Hi I've just been offered a market research forum for £75!! Haven't done it yet but here's the link anyway

    http://www.sarosresearch.com/main-index.html

I just signed up and this has come through within a week. They have given me a choice of three locations and I'm expecting a call to confirm the details soon.

Has anyone else any experience of saros?
I'll let you know what happens.

There's a thread on Saros on the Referrers' Board HERE. :) I signed up ages ago and have only had one email from them... I think it depends on where you live, London and big cities being a good bet! :o

I'd love to take part but unfortunately have probably got the wrong location... :(

Ha, I did one of those at the weekend too, it was great fun! :rotfl: The poor bloke looked so worried, but I obviously couldn't give him any feedback at all, even though I really felt like telling him he's got nothing to worry about.

And regarding people spotting mystery shoppers, it's bound to happen sometimes, as some companies have such specific questions you're meant to be asking (and a lot of them don't sound like something a normal customer would ask! :p)

I did a 'job' on wednesday, where I had to purchase an item.
In my brief, it said I would be receive the money back along with my payment.
I had to input details from the receipt along with my results.
So, what do I do with my purchase, do I get to keep it?

It was a job for Grass Roots.

I'm with Emysteryshopper and had an assignment were two people came round and observed me doing online shopping. It was today, and was quite cool, actually. I'll be paid £75!! I haven't used them for a while, as I got fed up of doing surveys for sites, but this has got me interested again!
