Maximising income - Mystery Shopping? Surveys?
Comments

I haven't seen one, but there is a spreadsheet on the "mystery shoppers office" website.
I'm not allowed to post the link, so PM me if you want it, or join the three words together and add a .com
Tried this site but can't find a spreadsheet - any further help please?
Also, do you send the spreadsheet to the IR?0 -
They still haven't got back to me - I won't have any fingernails left soon!0

Pumpkin - you could ring them to save your fingernails!
The phone number I have for John Bond is 0208 967 4663 (but he was having problems accessing his messages yesterday. Allegedly)
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -

Log into the forum and go to the "company section" forum.
Then click on the "Tax Queries and Record Keeping" section.
The spreadsheet is in the top thread called "Excel spreadsheet"
You don't need to send a copy to the IR. You just take the figures from it and put them in your tax return.
The only time the IR would want to see it is if you were investigated for any reason. As long as you're not doing something you shouldn't be, this is unlikely to happen. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Wow! That's quite a scary looking template! But, at least it gives the less experienced an idea what's needed and then you can go off and create your own or tweak this one to better suit your needs.0

Has anybody already done one of these Testing Centres, where you purposely fail an exam etc?
What I need to know is, how long must you actually be at the Centre? The notes say allow 60-90 minutes including the report, and, since (I assume) I'd be doing the report part from home afterwards, that doesn't really help. I know you have to be there 15 mins before the start for registration etc, but that's about all I do know.
My difficulty is that the only appointment I can get is 18:15, and I would have to leave no later than 19:50 to be sure of getting the last train home (a taxi would be too expensive to contemplate!).
If the timings are OK, then I'd be happy to go ahead, but if leaving when I must means I wouldn't be doing the job properly, then I shall have to withdraw.
Help, please0 -
Can anybody recommend what is the best time of day to check the mystery shop websites for new jobs? I seem to be missing out on all the jobs at the moment! I don't have my own computer so I'm only able to search once a day. I've had a few jobs this week but I've got nothing after Monday!0

Actually if your are offered a instead of a you have to accept that and then you have to accept the deal which makes it £4.69.
The other person is right, you do not have to take the larger meal (although I would be careful quoting exact sizes as it makes the company involved obvious which you are not allowed to do)! You are to get the smaller, as a meal deal if asked, which comes to no more than £3, and as already stated, retaileyes would not request you to spend more than what they are offering in spend reimbursed by them!!!!!!! Unfortunately not all are as good as them!!!0 -
almost missed all the new jobs! will have to get off the block quicker next time.DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0
