With regards to the top job you quote, if its the job i think it is for retaileyes is for a popular outlet which does daily offers and so if you upgrade the maximum it comes to is £3, retaileyes tend to be good at covering all spend that you will possibly incur.
THe other job sounds like a GAPBuster job, and yes they are notorious for their low fees, but if efficiently done can give you a slight profit as their quetionnaires are quick and easy!!!!!
Plus the argument is always if you don't think its worth it, don't do it, nobody forces you, i know it sounds harsh but its true!!!
Actually if your are offered a 12" instead of a 6" you have to accept that and then you have to accept the deal which makes it £4.69.0 -

They are mucking me about as well, to the extent that I am considering the Small Claims Court for breach of contract!
Thanks for your advice and support JM, I have always found them easy to work with in the past but this has been a nightmare. In addition to the delays they told me I wouldn't be doing a trade in but now all my jobs are marked down as trade in, our car is only worth about £300 and they want us to do a part trade in for cars worth £35K!!! And the age profile for all jobs is 40 - 65 and I'm in my late 20s!!
I will email them now and let you know how it goes.0 -

RE are usually very good with covering your full reimbursement (unlike Gap burgers!) so they wouldn't expect you to spend over £4 if you're only getting £3 back.0 -

Well I have emailed them, now biting my fingernails, wondering what they'll say!0 -
I've just been on the RE site and panicked a bit, as my pending payment of almost £200 has disappeared and isn't shown as a payment made.
I rang them and they told me their servers are down - very friendly woman said payments can sometimes disappear temporarily if they are working on the server.
Pumpkin - I'm just about to email TNS as well.....Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0
