Just wondering - as you know, Gap (and others) are now not covering their shoppers under their insurance. Which companies have people managed to get indemnity insurance from, and how much did it cost you? Just coming to the end of my maternity leave, so I'm a bit behind organising it.

    I use AXA Genie75.
I will be looking at others when my renewal comes round, its best to get several quotes and look at the benefits of the cash back sites when applying on line.
    Hope this helps

Back on the tax issue. I work full time and had already contacted the tax office years ago to declare a small amount of extra income and off-set this against tax decutable expenses.

I contacted them again when I started MS and after a bit of discussion and referring to someone esle the guy I spoke to said I could just ask to get my tax code adjusted again. I can also tell them this in January so I have a better estimate of what my extra earnings will be. The limit, which I didn't take much notice of as I wouldn't be anywhere near it was about £3k I think. It avoids you having to fill out a tax return which was why I wanted to do it.

    Has anyone else done this?

Thanks. Which AXA product is it? Can you remember? I can't see Personal Liability Insurance, but I could not be looking properly or it could be called something different

Hope you don't mine me asking saveit, can you tell me anymore about the insurance you get - what it covers and how much it roughly costs? Sorry to ask, and I have read the thread, but I am absolutely clueless!
I don't know whether I would need it, I don't really make a lot of money doing ms, just enough to pay a couple of bills!

I don't think you have to do it, but from what I understand is if the MS compnay is sued because of something you have done then the T&C's of the company now state that you will indemnify them and therefore it is yourself that gets sued, not the company. What is concerning is what happens if someone losses their job because of a report you have made....

I have just accepted a job for a large department store and have to viit a specific department and make a purchase of at least £10. I am not expecting to find much under £50 there and am wondering how it works with returning it as it says I have to keep the receipt a proof???
    Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
    Mortgage Overpayments Pot £1079
