i just got my first assignment for next year! i'm going to have to get another online diary set up.
i've been so busy that i havent had time to get on here, even.
mt reveal ones went really well. for one I had the store manager and when i revealed she said "i cant believeit ,you cheeky monkey. I'm always telling my staff you can spot them a mile off but I would never have guessed in a million years. you're absolutely briiliant at your job!!!!!!"
i was so chuffed - i do put some thought into my cover stories, either that or i'm a damned good liar. If she was trying to influence what i wrote, though, she was wasting her time - lol -

I did a reveal one on Saturday too, and got the manager as well! He said, "Awww, I really thought you were going to buy something!" :rotfl:
It was one of those ones where if the MOS does well, you reward them with a voucher at the end. Very cool, and very rewarding (for both parties)

So you claim the whole amount even if the meals don't come to that?
We are looking at it as a free meal anyway - going Christmas shopping to the city where the MS is and thought may as well have a subsidised lunch while we're there.
Also #2111. Defo read your notes well. I've done a few pub ones then suddenly I had a question asking for the name on the strip above the door, which I'd never been asked before or since. The curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile0 -

Oh been accepted for retail maxim today. What are they like/what types of assignments do they offer?
I did another one today and they were not very good, bad as they were a customer manager. Suprised me.
I am really enjoying doing it! Finding the reports easier as well now.0 -

Hi!
Long time reader, first time poster on this thread!
I really like Retail Maxim - the fees are reasonable compared to some others I've worked for, they pay expenses and travel for most jobs, the forms are relatively easy to fill in and they have a variety of work - I've done chemists, clothing shops, retails outlets, fish and chip shops, shoe shops and have been offered hairdressers. The only bad point is you have to wait for them to contact you with work.

Hi
We are finally settling down after our house move. It seems I have moved from one MS void area to another but was delighted to pick up a PO job last night.
Anyway, now I am a bit worried that my card won't be accepted. They tend to mention some banks eg Abbey but then go on to state Basic Account. How do I know whether I have a basic account or not. My statement just says 'The Bank Account'.
Does anyone know, because otherwise I am just going to use my husbands card which is a stated bank, but they do not specify the type of account.
Many thanks for any insight.0 -
I have no idea sorry, hope someone can help you
Ive picked up some more jobs
one for this saturday with RE and my second one of 2007 lol with grassroots
just on my way out to a fast foodie one now0
