Just a note of caution if anyone is thinking of taking up Saveit's suggestion of doing covert video mystery shopping. While the fees can be much better, often you are expected to provide your own equipment, which can be very expensive - may not be the best idea for those who are using mystery shopping to help themselves get out of debt...
I'm not saying don't do it, but look into it very carefully first.0 -
Thanks for the warning hornetgirl. It is something worth checking out as some companies don't provide the kit. I don't have my own kit and only work for companies that loan kits to shoppers.
I have done some work for the company that is offering work and they will provide the kit for you. An experienced shopper will meet up with you and show you how it works and give you some tips on filming. I didn't need training as I've used the same kit for another company, but I have been the trainer before! The pay is good and mileage is covered. The company pays promptly by PAYE once a month. Here I go again on my own....0 -

Yes as Becles has said this company provides the equipment there is no expensive outlay and I would be providing the training for the right applicant in the Tyne & Wear area. I hope this has answered some questions.

Just completed a food MS in a pub.
ARRGGGHHHH... Football was on the TV - BLARING..
The pub was packed with fans screaming at the TV and little old me trotted up to the bar, pushed my way passed 15 huge blokes downing pints like it was going out of fashion and what did I have to order ----A White Wine and a coke, and "Can I see the menu please"----Did I stand out or what.0 -
Well finally I get an email from Gapbuster to say there's a job in my area (which never ever seems to happen) and I log on and it's already gone - am so annoyed. I've only done a few mystery shops because there never seems to be anything in my area.
I'm registered with grassroots, TNS, Retail Eyes and Gapbuster. Can anyone recommend any other sites which I may have missed as I'm desparate to do more mystery shops.
Thanks in anticipation!
