  • The mystery shopping was going well, made the required spend, asked where the toilets were, popped my head around the door to check them out, caught one whiff of them and was very nearly sick on the floor - ewwwwwwww thanks goodness it wasn't a food purchase today but it was 7.20am this morning so not a good way to start the day. I then proceeded all day in work to go OTT on my perfume as I could still smell the rank toilet.

Dormouse, if I check retail eyes there are none in my area either, depends on availabilty and fastest finger first. Good Luck - I am mostly enjoying them (apart from today) although the one at lunch time was fine.

wow! this is such an exciting topic! do you do mystery shopping along with a full-time job? also, looking at some of the sites it says that there are mystery shoppers required for hotel assignments - do these come up often? think mystery shopping would be great for me - am often so cross because don't want perfection from people, just want competence, and this job would seem quite satidfying. Notice one of the ones recommended says will send you a manual for an online test -does the manual come through the post because I'm rubbish at reading books online. Once again thanks everyone for such an interesting topic - I'm new here and this is fantastic!
  • I've just signed up for Grassroots and Retail Eyes. Might be useful if you are actuallly going to the town in question. Ask me when I've completed a couple of assignments.

Once when I was buying a Clinique Bonus (pre MSE DFW days of course!), the Sales Assistant thought I was a Mystery Shopper as I asked so many questions, I heard her mention it to her colleague after I'd walked off!!:o
A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

    one life, live it!
