leni wrote:I emailed GAP on thiursday night informing them I couldn't do a job on friday morning due to my car breaking down and emailed them yesturday to say couldn't re-schedule for saturday as the car was in the garage, but would be ok for monday morning (I confirmed to them via email that monday would be possible because the car was picked up mid morning today) but too late for the time allocated assignment. They haven't responded to any emails but I keep getting the reminder emails and "assignment overdue"
anyone know what I should do - wish they had a telephone number to call.(partly their fault as they didn't send me a reminder email
) , went on the website under 'my assignments' and was able to reschedule even though I'd already had the email telling me I was overdue.

Regarding left and rights, it is taken from looking at the shop, I have no idea why, but all the companies I work for, go by this rule, maybe if a brief said the other way round, they are jusy trying to test wether you have read the brief or not !!"Dogs come when they are called. Cats take a message and get back to you" :j :j0

rachelja wrote:Has anyone got any advice for BAI please? just done my first one. I thought the assignment had to be sent back on their site but do you ever need to send back the leaflets you picked up or just keep them for your records?
i just kept them all ,they didnt ever ask for any of the paperwork though

Thanks for all the responses re expenses for retaileyes - no point accepting an assessment too far away then! At least with cybershoppers the automatic travel expenses make it that bit more lucrative.
Thanks again.0 -

I also had an email regarding a supermarket job i did for them on 2nd nov, they had missed off sections of the questionnaire so I had to re enter and fill them in !
I had exactly the same thing!! In fact they sent me 3 emails all similar... when I went through it, the sections that were blank weren't on the original questionaire!!
And, whoever said about taking pics for an RE job and getting stuck between uploading the pic and submitting expenses... I did too, I had to phone them up and they sorted it out.
On a brighter note, I did a lovely food and drink one for TNS today, made my weekend!!

mermaid1978 wrote:Do assignments come up in all areas of the country?
They do seem to come up in all areas but some areas more than others
I've found it impossible to get many assignments in my area as someone is obviously quicker on the draw than me as I only ever see them listed in a notification email. I really enjoy doing them (except when you are expected to talk to 2 or 3 different members of staff and describe each of them down to eye colour!)
Not sure what else I can do as I check several times a day but never get lucky. I could eat in MacDonalds most weeks if I wanted but don't eat wheat so thats no good.

full-time-mum, i understand totally where you are coming from!
I have the fortune of living in one county, my boyfriend living in another and and his parents (who we visit weekly) living on the border of two other counties, so as long as I plan I can cover a pretty wide area.
It would be nice if we knew when jobs were going to go on the site, but I suppose that's part of the fun!
Have you registered for GAP? I've had a lot of work from them.
If anyone can personally recommend companies (in terms of good volume of work etc) please let me/us all know!OU Student! - ED209, SDK125, DSE212, SK124, DSE141, SD226, DXR222, DD303, DD307 = BSc Psychology0
