Maximising income - Mystery Shopping? Surveys?

I actually took the photo before I did my visit, although the brief did say otherwise. I was able to take the photo from about 20m (I zoomed in) and then walked around for a few minutes before I entered the store.
I think I may have been spotted anyway, as I am sure these stores know the trigger signs for the MS, ie asks for certain products, accepts offers of add ons, asks for the classical receipt etc etc etc.
I felt fine until I was just leaving the store and the lady called over, hope to see you again ....
And if they had then seen me taking a photo, they would have known for sure.0 -

Thanks for your help.

Dazzieboo wrote:It depends on how far you take the subjective comments, a friend of mine has just started Mystery Shopping and asked me to check over her report before she sent it, I am glad she did, as I am sure the company would have thought twice about using her again, to be fair to her, the visit was a bad one, so it was difficult to stay objective about the whole visit, but comments like
“the member of staff was called Joan, she was dressed appallingly in a non colour matching suit of red and green with brown tights and it looked like she hadn’t brushed her hair for ages”
IMHO is far too subjective and concentrates more on being critical about the member of staff rather than on the customer service.
We changed the wording to “the member of staff was eye catching in their suit of green and red colours and their striking hair style” the name badge was worn on the right hand side of the suit and had the name Joan on it”
This answered the question asked, which was, was it easy to spot the member of staff, what were they wearing, did they wear a badge and where was it worn.
I try and stay away from any subjective comments, mainly because when I read the report back to myself and it doesn’t always come across as I want it to.
waaaaaah can't believe she was going to submit that in a report  :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

Yes, ISWYM, and I agree that comments about clothing are probably irrelevant (unless this woman was a sales assistant in a clothing store) but your 'striking hair style' doesn't quite capture the effect this member of staff had on your friend! I would tend to put something like 'I felt her hair looked rather untidy' as presumably quite a few customers might react in this way. (I have SUCH a clear mental picture of this assistant, by the way! :rotfl: )

When asked what shops/buildings are to the left and right of a job location, do you take it to mean as you look at a shop from the pavement....or, from inside the job?
I have always taken it to be from the outside, but on a brief last week, it came out the other way.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -

Has anyone got any advice for BAI please? just done my first one. I thought the assignment had to be sent back on their site but do you ever need to send back the leaflets you picked up or just keep them for your records? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I emailed GAP on thiursday night informing them I couldn't do a job on friday morning due to my car breaking down and emailed them yesturday to say couldn't re-schedule for saturday as the car was in the garage, but would be ok for monday morning (I confirmed to them via email that monday would be possible because the car was picked up mid morning today) but too late for the time allocated assignment. They haven't responded to any emails but I keep getting the reminder emails and "assignment overdue"
anyone know what I should do - wish they had a telephone number to call.
