Thanks.
Yes - you just get your fee.
Don't take one city centre job, as by the time you pay your parking and petrol, you'll have no fee left! Here I go again on my own....0 -

I read the forms and printed them off but forgot to make a note of the building on both the left and right - there was only the right on the form.
when I came to do it online - I had to put in the name of the one on the left too and I couldnt remember it. We ended up going back last night to find out.
that said I did 2 in about 1.5 hours ( inc travelling) and reporting. and I know I could have done it quicker. ( i got lost) so thats not a bad hourly rate.
cant wait for my next ones.

Edit - I've decided to put all my MS earnings into a separate account and not touch it. When I pay my tax bill at the end of the year, whats left i'll pay off my debts in a lump sum. SOunds like a plan to me.
thats a good idea
i think i will start doing that after xmas :beer:0 -

I wish I asked about the fee when they called me.
These are my first two assignments with them. I had to cancel one of them as I would have been out of pocket from paying the bus fare there and back! :rotfl:
Just one more question. They gave me a set amount for the meal to purchase. If the meal is a little cheaper than the cost they stated, can I still ask for the full amount?
Thanks!0 -

I always put in the actual amount spent as you have to submit a receipt

For Gapburgers they quote a fee & reimbursement & you get the full amount of reimbursement regardless of how much you spend. If the meal costs 10p less than the reimbursement then you will still get the full amount.
Please remember that this extra bit (10p in the example above) then becomes part of your fee & is taxable.
There has been a lot of discussion on another forum about the quoted reimbursement not fully covering the required purchase, so the above example might not happen very often.0 -
My missus has now done 3 of these, with another 2 this week. Retail Eyes and Grass Roots accepted immediately and started sending jobs through / accessing them from the site. TNS have accepted her, but no jobs as yet.
So far, as well as the payments, she's had a meal for 2 at a local pub, a play session at a Wacky Warehouse for our daughter, + drink, and a packet of fuses!
FYI, if a job becomes urgent, additional payment may be offered. This happened for a bank job (if that's the right phrase!), they offered additional expenses. It wasn't possible as it turned out, but worth watching out for if you're flexible. Thanks in advance,

Hi, wonder if anyone can help with this please? I've got a bar job for Friday, which is supposed to be food and drinks, but it says on the form if they dont do food then it becomes just a drinks assignment. I called them, and they dont do food. What I'm wondering is, the spend limit is £15, and I have to stay in the bar for an hour. This is difficult for just the drinks bit so can I buy more than one 'round' (of 2 drinks) from the £15 or do I have to pay for the second round from my own money? Obviously they will be on different receipts so is it ok to submit more than one receipt?0

Also, does everyone get paid by bacs for RE? Or do you prefer a cheque?
Sorry for all questions, thanks for your help.0
