So the tax bit I am trying to get my head around - if i start a spreadsheet with job pay - minus expenses such as mileage parking etc giving me a true job profit then I total this up and save approx 22% plus a little extra for NI.
Am I right.
Also do I have to pay more NI as I am currently pauing NI throughmy current employer.Lightbulb moment 10-06-06

Didnt someone ,becles ?? say that If you are going to earn less than 4k in the year from MS you wont pay tax / NI ?0 -
You will pay tax on your taxable income, however low, once you have passed the tax threshold. You won't pay NI unless you exceed £4k(ish)Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0

you won't pay any tax in a year you earn less than your personal allowance (£4-5k ish) from all sources
eg: if you have no other job and you earn less than that from MS, you'll pay no tax
if however you have another job/income which nets you over £5k a year you will pay tax on ANYTHING you earn from MS
hope that helps.0 -

I have worked for these for approx 18 months and get some lovely jobs from them. They have reduced / cancelled a lot of these fees recently but if you fancy a free night out then its well worth it
