angelatgraceland - I'm so sorry to hear about your DH. It's good that your DS is helping you and you've got your car all sorted. Sending lots of love and hugs.

Oh dear, another senior moment for me - I swear I'm losing it just a little bit - thanks!

Had an emergency bread and milk spend yesterday - had to go to the garage because ald* had shut - 6.16 for 2 litres of milk and a small loaf - ouch.

first big shop of the "month" and starting to feel the pinch now as things run out and need replacing and also seeing prices going up, however had a result with dog food and cat food both being on bogof so might go and get some more at the weekend to stock up a bit whilst its such good value.

i hope you're all doing great!

£45 on an online Mr A shop last night and £10 at chip shop (treat which we don't do very often). Made 2 portions of chilli for the freezer and 2 courgette and walnut loaves, one of which I'll freeze.
Will update my total in my sig today.
    April £5 a day challenge- £15.05/£150
  • Still no more spends since Sunday, but I have ran out of onions and tea bags so will need to pay a visit to the shops on my lunch hour. Also need some bread to make tea go a bit further. Hoping to spend less than a tenner though.
    November Grocery Challenge = £83.47/£150
