    Hi everyone,

    I spent £12.28 this week, so new total is £105.23/£150.

    Meal planning & avoiding takeaways seems to be doing the trick :)

    Oh dear, another senior moment for me - I swear I'm losing it just a little bit - thanks!

    Had an emergency bread and milk spend yesterday - had to go to the garage because ald* had shut - 6.16 for 2 litres of milk and a small loaf - ouch.

    first big shop of the "month" and starting to feel the pinch now as things run out and need replacing and also seeing prices going up, however had a result with dog food and cat food both being on bogof so might go and get some more at the weekend to stock up a bit whilst its such good value.

    £25 to add between HB and MrT..NSD today ...we are having corned beef hash for tea...complaining teens then:mad:
    Feeding 6 Adults 1 Teen a 8 year old with hollow legs and a very fussy 5 year old. Also 3 cats and 3 fishies
    To include all Food,Toiletries and Petfood.

    how are you with Dried milk i have just finished my af supply and am on the look out for more but for emergencies is it something you would use? same with bread i always have a Freezer loaf sectioned in two slice bags (cos with this diet i should not be having bread but like the odd one or two slices on my diet day off)

  • £45 on an online Mr A shop last night and £10 at chip shop (treat which we don't do very often). Made 2 portions of chilli for the freezer and 2 courgette and walnut loaves, one of which I'll freeze.
    Will update my total in my sig today.

    Still no more spends since Sunday, but I have ran out of onions and tea bags so will need to pay a visit to the shops on my lunch hour. Also need some bread to make tea go a bit further. Hoping to spend less than a tenner though.
