What's contradictory with what I have said? I have stated the workshy, and those on benefits over 12 months should do something....anything.0 -
As long as house prices rise the county will remain fine0

Which county is that then?
Is there something going on somewhere we do not know about?;)0 -
It should be pretty simple. There were nothing like the number of single parents around before we decided it was OK to pop out kids one could not support and the state would just pay for everything. Cause and effect. Unless you know better.
That is the fault of the welfare system.
There will always be those that take advantage, the system should never have progressed to this level whereby it could be so abused by some.0 -

As long as it benefits inside the M25 who cares;)"If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

Imagine you saw [just dreaming up a theoretical scenario] a multi-millionnaire get on his bike and expect a lowly paid, hard working, police officer to open a huge gate rather than a minor side-gate available for the purpose, and then accusing the lowly paid worker of being a f***ing pleb, which of the two people's dignity do you think has been compromised? Didn't this person remove his own 'dignity'?
Mitchell has said all along that he did not swear AT the police officer, although he did swear, and also did not say the word 'Pleb'.
Does anyone else think that what he may have said was something along the lines of "... the !!!!ing plod"? This would explain why he didn't particularly want to confess to what he actually did say as it would also have been taken apart by the press and the Police Union (or Federation as they prefer to be called).
I am not saying that he's not a vile, arrogant snake of a man, just curious as to what he might actually have said, since he has denied the 'Pleb' word so adamantly.0 -

I happen to agree (and have previously suggested myself) a similar idea of making benefits payable only upon daily attendence somewhere.
And pay them necessary traveling expenses? Or perhaps we should employ more people to travel out the sticks to "police" them."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

White horse you need to lighten up man!
The government is reforming the system, what do you want miracles!
Don't you tire of writing the same things over and over.
I think you have a compulsive disorder.0 -
The point is I have been working a good while so have a house full of the mod-cons, if I lost my job I would be hapy enough with just enough to eat in benefits as I would still have everything I worked for and I would get another job asap.
Meanwhile if you have never had a job you then wouldn't be able to afford said mod-cons until you get a job.
I really don't see the problem.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

You are young and starting out. Alot of your items will be newish.
Believe it or not stuff packs up, wears out.
Stuff happens in peoples lives that they cannot foresee.
People my have to start over late in life from scratch.
Life isn't full of convenient boxes.
It is easy to throw stones from a position of relative comfort and normality."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....
