Washing in TD, DW on, water supply still on, water still disappearing down the road
A man has been round and given us some cones to put out. That was hard for him! Leak is being fixed first thing tomorrow.
Have been to the vets. The vet didn't even get the rabbit out of the box to give her diagnosis. Rabbit is now an ex-rabbitWe need to clear out the hutch now, and dispose of it. Dog still needs walking. And i need to do some studying, but I am not in the mood. It may be a better idea to just get out of the house for a while.
I think I will log on and do some reading. At least I will feel like I have done something useful.0 -
Hey all,
So far this morning I have done a load of washing then fed the TD.
And Built a bookcase:T

welcome xcarlyx  you will find a lot of advice and support here, "little and often" is a good motto to have, it's surprising what you can get done in half an hour, or even quarter of an hour and it all adds up. Good luck and keep posting! x

Morning! Long time lurker on here, first time poster on this thread. Can anyone tell me what you use to clean light switches and sockets? Have a mix of paint/grease/dirt on them and if there is something you could suggest that would tackle all 3 at once that would be great. Was thinking white spirit but would that do the dirt as well? Also, would you usually turn off your electricity while you're doing this?0

Good bargains CY
Sorry about your rabbit good intentions
4 loads of washing done.
I've roped the littlies into helping to tidy their room. 2 bags of rubbish in the wheelie but and a large bag of clothes to eb@y/.
Spuds peeled. No cooking oil so I can't put the chicken in to roast. DD1 is too hungover to venture to the shops for me.0 -

Welcome
I don't think you will get everything off with one product. Try babywipes for the general dirt. I use astonish paste or neat Washing up liquid with a slightly damp cloth. Obviously do not get water inside the plug holes etc. I do not turn the electricity off.
Just had an hilarious HH with DH. I was playing my old !!!! CDs and making him guess the artist. Loads of them now in a box to go to the school Christmas second hand stall to go to somebody who will appreciate them
Lunch done. Going to see if my dough has risen and make another cuppa. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Thanks Dustykitten, will try the baby wipes first and see how I get on!0
