Good morning!
Hope I'm ok to join in again (for half-term at least). There's lots I want to achieve and I feel really motivated to get stuck in, although I don't think I'm realistic about what I can manage in the time I've got (nothing new there, then).
Things are ticking over nicely in the Chaos household at the moment. DS1 is still working and contributing financially, which makes things a bit easier. DH has gone back to working Saturdays as he wasn't earning enough (have also talked to him about really unnecessary spending, but I don't think he's got that yet). He's started doing a little bit more around the house, too. DS2 is just his usual, lovely self and will be roped in to help this week, in exchange for some pocket money.
First job of the day (although I've been awake for almost two hours) - second cup of tea and an attempt at a list. I think the phonecall to sky will have to rank quite high. My work laptop still won't connect to the internet - well, it did for one day and only after three calls - and DH's laptop doesn't have any office software, so I can either type a list or post about it, but not both. Also, DS2 would like to use his dad's laptop now, so I'll need to find a solution.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Guess who's been touching the tablet screen with honey fingers - oops
Nice quiet weekend here for a change. Plan to sort kids clothes with them, and DH can do his and to dust our bedroom then once it warms up raking leaves in the sun.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning all!
The end of the week got a bit hectic and I wasn't around much - too many appointments and DD2 with b/f probs (:(:silenced:).
Thanks for asking helen jelly, - those flylady vibes did the trick ( as did the foot up the backside - sorry can't remember who posted it!) DD1 did ever so well, GP made sympathetic noises then the pill was mentioned... and GP backtracked incredibly fast! So she is going to try it and see if it helps. Fingers crossed!
Today is DD1's 22nd birthday and the plan is a meal in the local pub at teatime. Looking forward to it!
Oh and we had SNOW last night! Can't remember snow in October - but the dD's had great fun in it ( 22 and soon to be 19!!!!)
Still eating breakfast here..... catch you later...... Off to sort out more washing...
and yet again another profound and sincere thank you for the posi-vibes in the week!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Went to see John Bishop last night...:T
and got out of car park in minutes due to devious queue joining - my mum was with ut doing her 'no point starting the car, we might as well wait' thing. I got a 'well done' anyway.
Cough is 'productive' ho hum but I feel LOTS better. Bright and breezy here - washing on line. It'll freeze or dry.:rotfl:Kids gone to their dads. he brought the puppy again - my old cat held him off at the back door :rotfl:.

Afternoon all
We even had a bit of snow this far south on the cars this morning - still really cold and condensation city. Considering a dehumidifier but they are more expensive than we thought. May just try putting the heating on more.
Three wardrobes sorted. Heaps to get rid of to various places. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
That's the ironing done...have stripped DS's bed so that's in the WM now; the stuff already on the line is blowing and drying beautifully. I have windows open to freshen up and clear the condensaation. Just having a :coffee: then I will decide where to start my attck on the pit.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

CY Hoppy Birdday to DD1 - but you can keep your snow!!
I am FUMING! Just had to [STRIKE]run[/STRIKE] hobble out and grab my washing in quick before the smoke from next-door's bonfire tainted it.
Ah well - we had a good morning out, got our F&V at the market, also managed to get a replacement for the plastic dish-drainer that's falling apart, and a frame for my cross-stitch Celtic Eagle. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
