I'd be livid too Lamewolf - so flippin' inconsiderate!

    Trying to muster some GUAG!

  • LW - I too would be fuming!

Next door but one did it to me earlier in the summer - I resisted the temptation to go and complain ( I would have destroyed neighbourly relations completely!) - but the neighbour between us didn't hold back! Thankfully they seem to have go the message!

Have just recreated a cake Nigel Slater made on the telly last night for DD1's birthday! (well I left the thyme out - it's just a lemon cake!) Hopefully that is now baking in the oven - fingers crossed!

House is a tip - GUAG completely lacking as are brain cells - I put mum on the front of DD1's card instead of her name. I am bloated, hormonal and Aunt Flo is 19 days late... and I feel ....... weird.

Off to do the washing up and throw DD2 through the bath.

I need some GUAG too - need to get my hair coloured this afternoon, as it's the last opportunity for a fortnight (I don't like to do it when there are dogs staying because of the fumes) and I currently look l;ike a red-and-silver badger!:D

Oh, I forgot to say, I got a late booking for an elderly, deaf JR Cross called Mary - she's arriving tomorrow, and staying til Dylan arrives next Saturday.:T

Achieved quite a bit in the garden, all toys away, tomato plants in the wheelie bin. two large trugs of leaf mould dug out, loads of leaves collected and for the next lot, last of the dahlias picked before the first frost.

DH sorting the garage and rain has stopped play now.

Hair now all red, and Mr LW has cleaned the bath.:A He's currently wielding the Dys0n, the idea being to get it done before Mary arrives, in case she doesn't like vacuum cleaners - it's surprising how many dogs don't!:o

I have a large (for me) amount of cooking/baking to do tomorrow, so I'm off to do some prior preparation, to save time and energy tomorrow.;)

LW - nice that you have a dog friend coming to visit, my pooch hates the hoover and goes upstairs when its on.

DS's room is now habitable, bathroom is now usable, DD's room is tidied by herself but I emptied the bin for her, just need to train her on how to change the quilt cover

I'm debating joining Costco or not but to make it really cost effective I need someone to join with me as its 2 cards for the price of 1 - I'll have to really price it up first
