HAHA thats what I also do when I'm out shopping and always seeing what type of card the person has when they hand it over to the cashier. Its so funny. I can't wait for my premier visa debit card - ill be waving in front of the person in the queue behind. Yes I am vein and quite sad :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
But saying that I was in Waitrose and the guy in front of me waved his Barclays Premier card around while his wife was packing lol - i thought poser haha
I don't get it why would you think someone waving a Barclays premier card looks like a poser when all it is 'is an added featured account debit card that costs more a month then the previous card.
Same with Lloyds premier account holders these are in no way status cards as 99% of current account holders can upgrade to these if they really want to but most decide they are not worth it.0 -

Indeed the only real status cards are the Couts credit card and the American Express Centurion Card (The card is made out of Titanium!!!)0 -
The HSBC Premier account isn't one you can just upgrade to by paying a monthly fee. You need to qualify for it.
I don't know about other banks Premier accounts, but certainly for HSBC it's worth having for a number of perks not available on the other accounts.0
