Always liked horses ever since my grandad stole one in 1983.
If it helps, send your card to me (along with your name, address and PIN), and I'll draw a horse on your new card for you. Free of charge.

Well I asked for a new Lloyds card last week as I made out my card didn't work with chip & pin and got home earlier to open exactly the same 2012 Olympic platinum card.

Oh we'll maybe in the foreseeable feature ill get my horse.

I got my card today and its the horse branded one and its not contactless...

For those who are interested in what the new card designs look like, you can view these in the following new welcome packs. Looks like LTSB have reverted back to the original designs pre Olympics. These were published October 2012.

You need to go to page 3 to see them on the following PDFs.

Here is the new Premier Visa Debit card (which is on its way to me)

Here is the new Gold Visa Debit Card - do not like!

Here is the new Platinum Visa Debit Card - looks grey!

Here is the new Classic & Silver Visa Debit Card (this is for Silver but Classic is the same card design)

Here is the new Cash Account Visa Debit Card - You need to goto page 8

Looks like they have gone back to the old design of cards, as the classic account one is what my old one looked like before I got the hideous green 2012 logo one.
Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both.

The only other down fall is the black horse design debit card is not available contactless yet.

  • My card doesn't expire until Jan 2015.

My guess is that the replacement card will have a Shetland Pony on it as I usually only have a small balance on the account! :rotfl:

How come? Surely they would of rolled this out on all cards?

I`m not sure to be honest, I don't think Lloyds starting issuing contactless cards until the Olympic design.

I have got two classic accounts with LLoyds both of my cards was contactless. I lost the one card reported it lost and they sent me a non contactless black horse card.

When I questioned it they said they would not be available on the black horse card design until Jan 2013.

    Unless anyone knows different....
