I suppose if you're "into" big black horses it saves you paying out for a personalised card with your partner's picture on it.urs sinserly,

Just received a replacement LTSB card and can confirm it is not contactless and it has the black horse logo."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Yes they do have different colour designs depending on what account you hold.

The only two that look the same are the classic account and the silver account.
If there going back to the old design with the horse on it, then all that changes is the colour of the background depending on which account you have.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0 -
Well I asked for a new Lloyds card last week as I made out my card didn't work with chip & pin and got home earlier to open exactly the same 2012 Olympic platinum card.
Oh we'll maybe in the foreseeable feature ill get my horse.0 -

I expect it will be phased.
Just had a thought, what would happen to the cheque books too?
I know this is an old post, but why would they both replacing them at all? When Santander bought Alliance and Leicester I kept the A&L card until it expired (several years after the purchase) and it wasn't replaced with Santander until then.
I see no logical reason why Lloyds wouldn't do the same - especially when it's only a tiny change from "Lloyds TSB" to "Lloyds". (Or is that what you meant by it being phased?)0 -
