Gingham - my daughter is using the pads, (the mooncup is for me).
IMine was delivered and two days later period arrives as if on cue, I am getting on fine with mine...haven't found it too fiddly, and my periods are heavy ie always used super and super plus tampons. Very pleased:heartpuls Number 1 Aunty Gok fan :heartpuls0 -
Sorry, I forgot. Yes, 6 might not be enough but you're better getting too few and adding to them than getting too many and them not being suitable. I imagine she'll want more for next month though! :jMay all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

umm, I know you're their mum, but do you not think its partially their choice? If my mum had said 'you have to do this' I would have done everything except what she said.
At 15, I was still going 'eeeuw' about bleeding in the first place, never mind going against what my friends were doing and having a mooncup.
If she's got her head screwed ont he right way (and I assume she has) then she'll realise the advantages of mooncup vs tampons, but I would say don't push it. If you are really serious about wanting her to use mooncup and she's not responding to the idea, maybe make her buy her own tampons and that way she'll see the financial benefit, if nothing else.
