I would like to get a Moon Cup but I don't want to pay for it by credit card. So I have just emailled them and asked if it's possible to send a cheque. I will let you know what they say.

I need more info about these 'soft tampons', I'm not sure why or how, what, where or when!!!

    Try www.gynotex.com for some info.

Sound ok until you see that they are £7.99 for 6 and not reusable!

Do not use after expiry date and existing hymen."

Have a look here, but I fear Ted wasn't taking it terribly seriously ...

  • I think it's a foreign site. There are a couple of funny phrasings and typos.

    This was interesting:

    "Attention

Do not use after expiry date and existing hymen."

No idea what they mean by this, but I'm afraid my hymen expired quite some time ago!! :D

If you think that's funny, Ted found some other goodies as well, it's worth looking at the gynotex thread I dredged up.

    Hi girlies

Marigold123 - when I received mine I looked at the stem and thought that I'd have to cut the whole thing off. I'm so glad I didn't.....I need the WHOLE thing  I have to say I got the hang of mine from the first time I used it....didn't expect to at all.

I noticed this morning that someone has purchased one using my link (found in the referrers board). I don't know who you are but THANK YOU....very kind of you :D

That was SO funny to read, i laughed out loud a few times :rotfl:
I would urge everyone to read it :D

As for the 'marshmallows', i think i'll give them a miss. Not good for the purse or the environment i think!

  • I don't know whether these have been mentioned already but I use Natural Sea Sponge Tampons, they are so comfortable... feels a bit strange at first washing them out but I find them better than tampons. I think you should change them every 3 months if you use for every period. Definitely saves money and apparently reduces chances of toxic shock syndrome.

    Website address is http://www.seapearls.co.uk/

I've never used washable sanitary towels but I know you can buy them.

Why does feminine hygiene have to cost so much!
