i've decided on a mirena to stop my heavy periods too, the doc did warn that for some women it can cause even heavier bleeding but i'm not sure mine could be any heavier lol!
re sea sponges, it says that the harvesting process releases lots of eggs and sperm into the water, making them a renewable source? are these the sponges they sell in boots for baby washing, also recommended for use during labour to suck water from?52% tight0 -
Anyone know of any "green" maternity pads? Nothing too wild or outrageous as I'm new to this, but I don't fancy 6 weeks of sitting on a big wad of pad.0

hopefully your bleeding will settle down after a while and become no heavier than a period. mine was only terrible for a few days then after the clot from hell (i'm sure it was as big as my baby lol!) it wasn't too bad, normal sanitary protection was fine.52% tight0

lol! i had ice with me but i wouldn't let go of the entonox for long enough to suck on it.
