I'm not particularly clued up on the court proceedure as this is the first time I've needed to get them involved. They had already received the court summons when they contacted me by telephone. All I can do I guess is keep my fingers crossed (although re this they are getting a little stiff
) that they actually have a moment of conscience ( :rotfl: ) and do the right thing.
What do you advise I do now? I had already sent the relevant paperwork (this is something they didn't request in the T&Cs so they haven't already have it) before I got your latest reply.
To be honest I'd already resigned myself to not getting a penny from them. I was filing the whole thing down to experience when I thought I'd give it one more shot.
I've had no problems with Mobileshop who I also have a cashback scheme with and I am quite dissacppointed that not every company is so committed to paying out monies owed.
If they have contacted you after they received the summons, then you should go to court and plead your case. The Mobile Outlet will probably not turn up anyway. If they pay out before the court date, inform them that you require the £50 fee as well, if they refuse, you will have to take them to court for it.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -

I've had another couple of phonecalls today to say a cheque will be in the post tonight. I did ask for my court fees to be refunded as the mistake was made on their part (although I just really want this to be over with and if I lose £50 and gain £360 then that's just fine). I will let you know what I receive when I receive it. Thanks for all the advice. :beer:0 -
£210!
Can anyone teach me how to start a claim in the small claim court please?
I have plenty of time for the court proceeding, paperwork etc.
Just too angry to be bullied.
Hey Bab,
I went to https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk and started the proceedings there. It was pretty straight forward just have their address at the ready; actually here it is to help you on your way (don't forget you debit/credit card).

PS The woman who called me told me they get over 300 of these court proceedings letter per day...that's disgraceful.0 -

Phone them and say that you have sent all the documnets that they requested and if they dont pay up then you will be starting court proceedings against them, they will try anything to get out of it but if you stand firm then they should back down
Heres the details to make a claim
