In the end I didn't follow it up, because my money was refunded by PayPal. In all of my attempts to contact him (and there were many, believe me - countless attempts via twitter, email, phone, registered letter), I have never once had a response other than general replies sent to everyone on the mailing list. My PayPal claim timed out with no response from NHCo, and that is how I got my refund - if the seller does not respond to the claim, they automatically find in favour of the buyer. I believe this is the only reason 99% of the people on this thread have been refunded - PayPal have taken the hit, not NHCo :mad::mad:
Good luck with your claim, I hope you have more success with him than me xx0 -
Just want to say sorry to everyone.
I felt sorry for them and was willing to give them a chance, but I was wrong.
Lesson learnt to me...not to be so trusting.

We all have to trust at times Kate. Its human nature to want to think good of folk. I hope this awful experience doesn't mar that ability to trust, for you and all of us.0 -
This whole shambles has got me to do this:

I've submitted the report for the attention of 'Rogue Traders' as I genuinely believe that Neil was/still is a rogue trader.
Feel free to send a brief report; you never know, we may see Neil's face in the rogue's gallery. :rotfl::grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

credit card chargeback proceedings begun . owed £117.
....yeah....tasted and smelled like they had been down a well with a family of trolls for a year. I thought maybe they had been left in a damp delivery place but I think that must be what the shops storage room must have smelled like!:rotfl::rotfl:If it weren't for stress I'd have no energy at all. This is a very good post and your only outlay at the moment is the cost of recorded delivery. But i have a horrible feeling that because i think this was hes plan from day one he wont have any assets in hes name.which means even if he was taken to court etc and eventually makes himself bankrupt no one will get their money back.
Would have to say that even if we never got our money back his being declared bankrupt would certainly make his life a LOT more difficult! And as both he and his wife are named as company directors....it would make getting any kind or credit difficult for them!
You would think given that there is now evidence they are lying about insolvency and still trading that the trading standards would now be able to go after them properly! Has the person who had the definitive info about no insolvency proceedings being started contacted Norfolk trading standards with this info?
Failing that.....if anyone actually received a hamper with a bonus free rat............:rotfl::rotfl:If it weren't for stress I'd have no energy at all. First rule of acting: Whatever happens, look as if it were intended.;)

Sorry to repeat my own post of this evening, but I think you've not spotted it:
Shareholders can voluntarily liquidate a company by voting and passing a resolution to stop trading. They have 14 days to advertise the resolution in the London Gazette and must send a copy of the resolution to Companies House within 15 days.
If a company passed such a resolution within the last couple of days, it would be too early for the Insolvency Service to have notification of this.0 -

It was me and no, I haven't as yet but will do so tomorrow. Even if they go on to do voluntary insolvency if they hadn't started by today maybe Trading Standards can look into it? They may investigate as to whether they have started any proceedings if they're made aware of what I found out today anyway.0
