Truthfully at this stage I would, as I have, replace the gifts. Unless of course you have the kind of family/friends who you see regularly and who wouldn't mind a late gift. I doubt I will be seeing a delivery on monday so I had to just replace the gifts I needed to.:A

Unfortuantely too late to go down chargeback route as my order was made & paid mid October. To be fair mine was posted when he said it would be and he called me and offered a refund as it had been lost by UK mail but only after I tweeted and asked for refund as they hadn't arrived and I had twice told them the date I nedded them by. This was in the early days . I have spoken to my bank and looks like chargeback unlikely as I have no confirmation date on it for when they were to arrive or be posted. Bank says I need to have a date so that they could have gone down non delivery route. Obviously that not the case now as I have the goods which do show they were posted when he said . Wondering if the contents don't match If i can go down the route of goods not as promised but I have no proof as to what they should have been other than 100 pages on here !A_Phoenix_of_Tangerine wrote: »You're either brave or naive believing Neil when he says he'll refund you... Go the Paypal or chargeback route if you want a refund and nothing more to do with this company - goods didn't arrive on time and are therefore unfit for purpose. Keep the hamper safe and tell Neil he can collect it at HIS expense. Good luck!
Think I will take a peak anyway just to see what like mine are!
I have emailed him but still await reply that I know will never come !I have never met a calorie yet I didn't like!!0 -

Can I ask if they are really heavy or quite light and were they in one package or in a few? I apparently have 3 weighing 10? (Dunno if its ten kilos, pound or kippers...... !).
It is such a shame they conducted their business the way they did as based on most of these hampers that have been pictured (with a few notable exceptions) I would have spent a fortune with them over the years...........:(
What deals were these picks from littlegreenalien ?
This was the Festive special. They came in one big box and one smaller one and yes they were quite heavy.0 -

If that's the £30 Christmas hamper I'll be receiving then I'll be complaining.
The wooden tray is worth £5 on their website: http://www.thenorfolkhampercompany.co.uk/wooden-tray-709-p.asp
(And that's assuming you were sent a large one!)
The jams look like the smaller pots, the cake looks tiny and the Christmas pud is the smaller size too! RRP is probably £10 for the whole lot. So where is the other £15 worth of goods?
Also how can Christmas hampers have such a significant difference in contents?
xSuziex received the following (thanks for the pic):
Now as far as I'm aware, they're both from the 12 + 12 deal. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
How can a business treat customers so unfairly?
(Not having a go at xSuziex or anyone else who has received their hampers as advertised; just find that it's awful customer service from Neil and The Northern Hamper Company).:grouphug:
