Payday today and just checked my account and over £3k in there! :eek:
Still had £300 left from last month, so that will be put to good use as Mrs Wal's car is due to be taxed, might do it for a year this time, the rest will be put towards Christmas0 -

A quick update with regards to Halifax and they have not charged any interest this month and next months estimated interest is £0.00 which has confused me a bit as they said they would accept the lower payment and would lower the interest for 12 months, so we'll have to wait and see what happens over the next few months0

Sounds like they've actually frozen interest then.Our LBM: Dec 2011. DMP started: Jan 2012. Debt at LBM: £41,568
Oct 2012 = Current debt: £40,548.93
Oct 2013 = Current debt: £39.054.70
DMP Support number 424 - Long haul number 3080 -
It does look that way but I'm wondering if perhaps they will apply the interest annually. Just checked online and no interest applied yet....
Also they have now reduced the minimum payment to what Step Direct are paying them so it took a while but looks like we might finally be getting there!0
