I have to agree with many other posters that the sale was a big disappointment. I was after mainly Lego but also Stars Wars toys and at 33% off it wasn't enough to tempt me. Went to Harrogate today and there was loads of both left when I called in this afternoon and the sales assistants couldn't understand why! Last year l spent £250, this year l spent £35. Thanks to MSE this year I have taken my business elsewhere and thanks to everyone who has posted all the other deals l've taken advantage of.

Has anyone seen the barbie popstar keira doll in any stores it's £12.49 half price x
  • Can confirm that the Lego Friends Campervan was included in the sale as I got one from my local today. Might be worth going back and getting someone to scan it for you just incase HTH

I did get the lady stocking the shelves to scan it, then even took it to the customer service desk to have a moan, but no joy! Thanks anyway

I am in agreement with many of your regarding this sale! I really did well 3 years ago when it was half price online aswell, my wee boy was turning one so was able to get the smart trike and little tikes police car for half price, the next couple of years I picked up various bits including games and fireman sam!
This year we are finally into Lego but lo and behold it is only a third off! I ordered three small sets online! I even went instore today as I have another wee one but only spent £10, they have lost out on a lot of money from me this year too!
  • What a big disappointment, sent dp this morning as me and the kids still in school.
He got 3 things off my list, was the only one on the toy Isle at opening time.
Grand spend less than £50 is usually £200 plus, nothing for older kids this year!!
