Managed quite a bit of lego today and some nerf & batman things ! - Tranformers masks etc - there was so little to chose from I was very disappointed and glad that i went online this am and bought the stuff on Amazon and mothercare ! The main entrance to our store last year was filled with toys all out on a display - this year they was not even 1 toy out of the ordinary ! I've seen it more filled on a normal sale ! Ah well - hope everyone gets what they needed.0

It was only when I got home I remembered ds said he wanted a star wars toy - my brain is getting old
If they are only 1/3 off its prob not worth me going back, but if they are 1/2 price I might go back out again.
Overall really dissappointed with the sale although its probably great for those with younger kids. But last year I think I was spoilt getting all that lego at 1/2 price.
Also amazon dont seem to be matching stuff this time which is a shame for those who cant get out and about.
Stars are was third off got the pods for £6 ish and they had helmets darth vader ones and some small figures

btw seen a few mention monster high - i just posted some with 50% off in the amazon toy thread £8.99 down from £17.99
Thank you thank you thank you !!!!!! My dd was after the create dolls which were £20 in sains down to £15 and I really had to resist not getting them convinced myself not cheap enough and they are £8 on amazon... And paid for with mccains spuds amazon voucher too so costs nothing.

I got the playmobile plane (which is £42 on Amazon atm), 4 games including an Orchard Toys one, Mickey mouse toy, a stroller and a unicorn pony and a shape sorter puzzle.
With 2 birthdays and Christmas coming up.

I stayed up and placed my order about 2am. I waited until the site was up and running again. Ordered about 8 items. Didn't get a confirmation email but thought it was due to the high demand. Finally got one through at 11.30 am but then got another email a few minutes later to say that most of my items were out of stock. I don't see how when I paced my order so early and other people seemed to get their emails much quicker. I'm so annoyed as I'd bought lots of wonderful pressies for my sons first Christmas that I'd been holding out for. I've sent them a couple of complaint emails. Has anybody else experienced this who placed an order at a similar time to me. It is mainly fisher price and play and grow stuff which is out of stock which was obviously in stck when I ordered at 2am.

Lots left in the Stirling store. Plenty of brands and lots of nice wooden toys from Sainsbury's own range too.0

The playmobil plane that is online Sainsburys is showing as £21.83 on Amazon - so cheaper than Sainsburys.

I went to my local store and picked up a few bits of lego and a couple of presents - most of it not that inspiring - or the same things that they get in especially every year
I was a bit gutted that the bigger lego friends stuff had all gone - I think the person just in front of me took the last one but I couldn't have got there any earlier, so oh well.
Missed on-line, not that keen to stay up all night esp when the baby is hit and miss as to whether she decides to wake in the middle of the night0
