Just a few things, the bills are my half, sis pays half the household bills and has her own bills which we keep separate. The new house has a private water supply so we pay £50 per year. I know I'm in minus so hoping I find work very soon. I just want to get rid of these credit cards very soon!

Hello all, hope your all ok. I'm a woman on a mission, just making a list of college work I have to do and also a list of things I have to sell.

Been thinking alot lately about what I want to do career wise, I'm thinking agricultural adviser/consultant. I know it will be very hard but need something to aim for and it's something I'm passionate about.

Handed keys over today for the old house... Got the deposit back in full and he thanked us for being good tenants so it's all good, back to the list...

    Hello all....
Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas! I had a really lovely day went for a walk on the moor first thing with the dog which was lovely as the weather has been fantastic, although I hear it's meant to get wet and wild again tomorrow night :(

So now Christmas is out the way I'm naturally thinking about money and things. I've just discovered to my absolute horror that I missed both minimum payments on both my credit cards this month so a nice £12 fee on both of them :( somehow stupidly I've managed to bash the credit card even more and my debt total as of now is:
    £183.47

Which doesn't sound alot but when you don't have a job it is :( (I had to give up my job when I moved house :( ) so tonight I'm going to sit down and try and work out what to do. I'm looking for jobs everyday and will do absolutely anything but finding something that fits in around college is so difficult.

On the plus side got a food hamper off Mum for Christmas which is going to help and I've been savvy today and had a sort out of things to sell and got a stew cooking in the slow cooker for tea and I'm gonna light the fire soon for when my sister gets home as she's been at work all day and I'm nice like that :)

I know I ll manage some how and I know my debt is nothing compared to others but I'm really hoping I can get a job soon I'm going mad!

I just feel so stressed as got alot going on at college too but I feel like I can't concentrate on that because I'm always thinking about money :(

    Anyway enough rambling,

    Welly xx

Well not updated this for a while as been so very busy! College is almost done just plowing on with my work.. Yesterday I went for an interview and I've been offered a full time post with them wanting me to start ASAP and I will have accommodation there so just waiting for the OK from college and I will be moving. I'll still be paying the bills here for the time being but I ll save money on fuel and things.. It's scary but exciting at the same time but so much to do too! But they are very flexible and will give me time off to do work and finish off the last bits of my degree.. and for the last few months I've been seeing the most lovely man who makes me very happy... so once I'm sorted and settled in the job I shall be back with vengeance attacking the credit cards..

Well its all !!!!ed up again... Rang to sort out the job I'd accepted it and they've turned round and given a trail to a local kid with no experience so now have to wait 2 weeks to see if the job will still be mine. So feeling very down and depressed think I will go to the doctors tomorrow as I actually thought about self harming last night which is something I've never done.

  • Hey. Sorry to hear your feeling down. I hope you're feeling better today, and that you did go to the Dr today. Chin up :)

Yeah went to the doctors and talked about things declined anti depressants I dont want to go down that road if I can help it. I just feel like I'm never going to get anywhere in life always going to be in debt, feel like I'm not good enough for my bf and I'm graduating soon and worried I won't be able to find a job and will loose the house and everything. I feel like a total failure. No self confidence at all its rubbish.

  • There's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes we're far away and it's very dim. But the light is always there :)

Sounds like there are a few things that are bothering you at the minute. Is there anything else offered or just anti-deps? When I had to take off work my Dr suggested them for me, but, like you, I was reluctant. Instead, I went to see a counsellor. He was a huge help and worked wonders. Never needed the tablets thankfully.
