Ok so I've just got my results from college and I've passed this 1st year! Which is a big surprise as I wasn't expecting too so now I have some big decisions to make...
To go back or not.. Depends on the job I guess.. My degree isn't going to help me milk cows... Confused!

Thank you very much HAW!! Insanly I've just had a call off a friend offering me 2 nights a week milking with them of course I said yes... Then she got onto pay.. I was thinking 7 quid an hour would be good.. no I'll be on 12.50 an hour, that's double my supermarket wage..... Crazy times...

Wow that's fab! Good ££ opportunity there! Plus only a couple of nights too which is handy!
Happy hump day

Well I had a phone call last night from a dairy farmer in Wales asking about me and how he's interested in me and if I'd like to go down for an interview so I will be going next week.. Not sure yet as will be a big thing to move but will see what things are like and what the job is offering.. It's full time perm with the chance of progressing....
Lots going on!

Right I'm back so I went to Wales and decided not to take the job, there was little progression and I'd still have to pay rent up here which wouldn't leave me much money at all for things down there.. My gut was telling me something wasn't quite right.
So I'm now waiting for the relief farmer to get in touch with some more hours for the other farm there's all so the possibility of going full time there too but until then I'm selling everything I can and doing as many supermarket hours as I can... I hope this all works out I feel that milking cows is what I should be doing I enjoy it and I feel I'm good at it so I guess we shall see!
So debt wise I've gone a bit backwards
but I'm plotting and planning:
Credit card: 743.00
Overdraft: 740.00
So I'm back to attacking the credit card as much as I can I need rid of it ASAP, it doesn't seem alot at all but when your bills are £400 a month not including food or fuel and your wages are £500 it's all a bit naff...
Off I go to find some more stuff to sell.

Ok so it's payday... should be whooo but it's boo!
Car tax is due at the end of the month so have put some money aside for that, along with money for the rent and a few other bills due out.
I've got a new credit card and transferred the balance from my other one, the new one is a Tesco one with 0% on BT and purchases for 12 months so the plan is to bash this and get rid whilst it's 0%!
I won't get paid for my milking till the end of the month but I plan to do as much overtime as I can this month so hopefully will be able to pay a chunk off the card then...
Been feeling pretty down these last few days, I hate being a woman that TOM ruins my life and I've been through every option possible, docs won't do anything to invasive because of my age and the risks but I can't face the thought of the next how ever many years like this! The doctors at my surgery are sick of the sight of me and I've seen every one of them more than once about it!
Feeling rubbish isn't helped by the fact my bed has broken so I'm now sleeping on the floor on my mattress and I hate being so low down!! I keep looking at beds and my mum said I need to get a new one but really don't wanna put it on my CC as it defeats the object! but so does sleeping on the floor I guess....
Hope your all well

Hello

How are you? Hope you're feeling a bit more positive and upbeat now!
Sleeping on the floor is ok for a night or 2, but not recommended long term
There's no reason why you can't get a reasonably priced bed to do meantime, until such time as you can save up and get the one you really want. Or else a blow up mattress
Getting plenty of overtime in??Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Hello HAW, Hope your well and enjoying the sunshine! Still on the floor but it's going ok, had no overtime for 2 weeks :-( but today I went for an interview at a recruitment agency and I'm off for a trial at a place on Thursday, all being well starting next week until I go back to college and I'll still be milking and doing my supermarket hours.. I know it's alot to take on but having no overtime at work it's the only real option.
So I plan on using my wages from new job to pay off my CC and for the rent and my Tesco wages for my food and fuel and maybe some savings!
But I will get rid of this debt before I start college again!
