    Total debt as of 11/04/13. - £923.97 :(

Pay day tomorrow so will hopefully be able to pay off some of the credit card, get my student loan on Monday so will be paying off my friends mum with that as it's almost a year since she lent me the money and I don't want her to think bad of me.

Right on cue however when I think I'm getting somewhere my car cut out yesterday... why does this always happen??? So not happy :(

Morning all, today is pay day...
Got a good wage this month as done a fair bit of overtime this month..
£200 off the credit card which means:
    Total CC balance now: 396.05
    Friends mum: 350.00

    Total: £746.05

I get my student loan on Monday and intend to pay off my friends mum at least. As I only have a month left at college I intend to work and hours I can then either pay off the card with my loan and use my overtime to save and use for the bills or just use my overtime to pay off the card. I feel that it'll be easier to pay it off with my loan then I can get rid of the card and forget about it.. I then can start putting a bit away each month as an emergency fund..
Anyway off to work I go.. have a good day everyone..

    Welly xx

    Hello all :)
So today it's my birthday and I'm 24..
I have promised myself that I'll be out of debt and have savings by this time next year..
So I have no work until Saturday so this week the plan is:
    - Fill in student finance form for next year.
    - Keep job hunting
    - Search through stuff to ebay
    - Have a sort out of all bills and DD.
    - Sort a plan to save for a new car, mine is very poorly and not worth saving :(

    Hope your all well

Hello HAW, I had a lovely day thank you! Went out for tea which was lovely then made the most of the weather yesterday and went to the seaside with my best friend from uni... had such a laugh! Although she got dive bombed and injured by a seagull it grabbed her finger and drew blood... It's such a shame as the town is a lovely place but the seagulls are a massive problem now.. Last time I went with another friend she too got attacked.. and still while we sat and had our fish and chips there were people feeding them.. makes me mad!!

Anyway in money saving news a friend emailed me a job advert last night for a glasshouse assistant just up the road which is for 3 mornings through the week. So it would fit in around my other job and it'll be a manual job which will be good as I like to be doing. So I left it last night and went to apply this morning then realized the closing date was yesterday but I emailed anyway and almost got an instant reply I have to call them ASAP and arrange an interview so will hopefully be off there today or tomorrow. I was thinking maybe alot of people don't want to plant cabbages for a living :rotfl: If I get it, it will be around £80 a week which will be a massive help!
Right off to call him then do some revision..

    Hope your all well,
    Welly xx

    Hello Everyone,
Well I had my interview and seemed to go OK, seems there was a fair few folk going for the job so unsure of how things will go. Will know by tomorrow what the outcome is.. I really hope its good news as it'd fit in perfectly with my other job etc.

Got a grant coming tomorrow so will pay off some more of the credit card and make do with what money I have until next Friday when I get paid.
