Weddings can be a cheap/expensive as you make them.

Outfit - dig to the back of your wardrobe, or see if any of your friends have an outfit you can borrow. Same with shoes/bags/jewellery/accessories.

Present - make something! The thought/time/effort put into something like that will mean a lot. Album? Wee girlie PJ/pamper night before the wedding would be good fun?

Transport - research now! Have you far to travel? Car/taxi share?

Drinks - no rounds! Drink at your own pace and have a glass of water between each drink.

That's the first few things that come to mind anyway, but I'm sure others will have more suggestions

Thanks HAW I'm sure I'll sort it.. We are driving down with a friend hopefully so that will be cheap.. My car wont start tonight and of course the garage is closed... luckily I can borrow my sisters car for work tomorrow and hopefully tow it to the garage.. more expense absolutely fed up.. It's nights like this I could walk out the house and just not bother coming back.....

I am a bit thanks, think last night I was sleep and chocolate deprived! Today has been an ok day went to work this morning after no sleep which was a bit eww but then my friend came to see me and we went for a drive up the dale and a walk and I've just baked some cakes.. Back at work at 430 am for the next 3 days.. I do hope my body clock will adjust! Last pay day from the supermarket tomorrow!

Been paid yey! Will be getting paid from other job on Monday. Just done our monthly shop went to @ldi and lidl.. Have been to @ldi before but never the other one and very impressed! Got a massive massive shop for the month for under £100!

Mavis is still in the garage no news on how bad it is yet! Work all day tomorrow and Sunday..

I'm back! So Mavis is back nothing wrong with it apparently and it's been fine so we shall see but no garage bill. Got my student loan so that's my bills sorted for the next few months hope they sort my grant out soon, waiting for my wages to go in from the farm so I can pay some off my credit card. Meant to be my week off but working every day now which will compensate for my weekend away at the wedding and some extra so hoping to pay a big wad off the CC bill at the end of the month. Determined to get sorted asap!

Im back, not been here for a while been so busy with all sorts of things! Job is going ok not quite into the swing of 330 am starts but getting there! Slowly paying off the credit card.. Stressing as my horse is coming back of loan so having to sell him, really have no money to keep him but I wont sell him to some rif raff. Just another stress I dont need!
Heating is still broken (5th time this year) landlord doesnt seem fussed at fixing it, in a real pickle as now Im self employed I wont pass agency stuff if we try to get another house... We've re registered with the council to get back on the list. I cant face another winter with no heating... I'm making myself ill with the stress but what can we do...

Haven't even thought about Christmas can't afford it.

Need to sort things out but dont know where to start..

Sounds like you're going through a rough time

My sister ended up having to sell her horse as she just didn't have the time with one thing and another. She actually sold her back to the livery place she got her from originally. And she has the option to call in any time to see/ride her Maybe something to think about?

Crap ref the heating That's not on. I'm sure some MSEers on her could direct you to a letter template you can send to him, get him to get his bum in gear

And make a list of what needs to be done first of all. Once you've a list you can then decide what's urgent and what's not. Tackle one thing at a time.
