There is not space. My room is made up of a desk and a bed and a few shelves here and there...

Lift the mattress off, take it out of the room.

Smack the bed with a hammer, over and over again until it's in small pieces.

Take the pieces of bed out of the room.

Put the mattress back where the bed was originally, or build a new bed in its place.

    Done.

OP you need a new bed. People are giving you advice and you're meeting it with ifs and buts.

Go onto Gumtree/freecycle and find yourself a new, second hand cheap bed frame. You've already got a new mattress, so all you need is a new frame (which is the bain of your problem/life if it's costing you jobs. drama queen! :rotfl:)

You should have got a second hand frame in the first place, rather than get a new mattress. Then see if that worked and then got a memory foam topper (what I done when my mattress was beginning to meet the end of it's life. I sleep amazingly now)

See also. Where the hell do you live? Your bedroom sounds HORRID. I couldn't deal with a tiny bedroom/box cupboard to sleep in.

Hahahah. True, but I didn't even realise anything other than the mattress could be at fault, until this week..... I'm just not a very well rounded type of guy. Tbh, I'll sleep on anything me, I only got neck pain a few times as well. Sleep anywhere me, sure of it!

So you're a bit OCD about beds, but will sleep anywhere?

The ladies are going to be a little put off by a single bed in what seems to be a cupboard, anyway...

No, I was referring to my mate who very occasionally pops round.

Why would you take your mate into a TINY room with no space.

Hot box it (look it up)

Sleeping with a book under your mattress can't be very comfortable surely?

Can you not get a screwdriver out and remove the 6 billion shelves surrounding your bed that stop you moving?

I agree though, time for a new bed.

Cheap. Delivered. Smash up your old one. Sorted. Then you and your mate can "hot box it" in your cupboard without fear of a creaky bed disturbing your special time. :money:
