Had to have words with the postie this morning as he has lately taken to banging loudly on the door and then ringing the doorbell when delivering a parcel, he used to just do the normal doorbell ringing although he would then be writing the notification card out before I had a chance to answer the door. I wonder if it has…

Surely that's a perception thing? The postie sees it as a knock, the occupier may see it as a bang. Define the difference. Many posties have developed a police man's knock just to make sure they are heard :rotfl:
