  • Stay strong and concentrate, if need be turn off your mobile (Battery Dead) and pull out the land line (You were out with your friends, so didnt hear the phone ring) so he cant speak to you 2moz if you feel like you need more time on your own to gather your thoughts, dont drop everything just for him else he will carry on treating you badly, If he wants to talk to you and sort things out he needs to be a man, he created this situation (in a cowardly way), now he needs to sort it out face to face and stop hiding behind his mobile.
    Sorry if that sounds harsh

    hi its me again,
    i've had a really **** day,
i had to tell my parents today, oh god it was awful, my dad is so disappointed, he really liked him,
i also told a couple of friends in the village,
so in all i have had to tell the story three times today, it hurts like hell when you are trying to block it out,
the general feeling seems to be he has someone else,
there really is no other explanation,
do you's think i should try and think of it like that and then if he has it wont hurt so much?

  • Sorry you had such a bad day yesterday, atleast you wont have to tell them again, and it makes it more final.
If you think the worst you can not get even more hurt, plus thinking that he has somebody else, should make you hate him even more and make it easier to get on with your own life.
Are you still living at his house? what have you managed to sort out so far, living in the future, bills, getting your money back that you put into the house etc?

My advice in a breakup is to ignore him totally, no reply to his silly texts, don't answer the phone, let him wonder what you are doing.

As it's his house, if you need to leave at some point, you could always give him a gift to make sure he has plenty of healthy stuff to eat. Get a ton of cress seeds, sprinkle all over the carpets, water well and close the door. In a few days he should have a lovely green carpet applause.gif egg mayo anyone?

    PMSL.....What a brilliant idea.

    Hi Sue,

Telling people is always difficult because you end up going over everything again, but remember that the people you're telling are your friends, so you could just tell them the basics & that you aren't up for discussing it at the moment - they should respect your wishes, and hopefully be there without being nosey!
